If you dont have to if you dont want to. But it does not make sense that your betta is sick with something that is caused by poor water quality and they say that everything is ok. :/
Ask for a drop test. You need the results of.
Ammonia
Nitrate
Nitrite

Omg I love your Lionhead! I hope mine grows up like that! Is it normal for them to have no head growth cause mine doesnt either? Or are they just egg fish?

the thing is, they tested the water right in front of me, it was the manager of the fish department who did it too, they showed me the color code on how they tested it

and really i don't live close to petsmart it burns gas for my mom and dad to drive me out there, I can't go out there everyday and my parents are getting irritated about that. I can't keep running out there for things that wont help me, the first medicine I got didnt work and i went out there again. The second stuff i got i haven't seen any improvement. and if i dont get a picture (a really good one because most of the time its blurry and he is a darker fish) anyway its hard for me to know -.- and really its frustrating for me cause i dont know what to do

Ok here's a pic from Facebook. Notice how his tail seems like it is a Doubletail all hunked together? But he's a half moon.... And do you see the splits? I'm sorry for the horrible iPad camera quality http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... e=1&ref=nf

Did you look up popeye? Is that what it looks like? Or are they just slightly bigger? I have a betta with eyes that have always seemed bigger but we got him from a breeder and they said he was healthy. I think it's just he way they are cause they aren't swollen or anything, they've been like that since he was a baby but they aren't that big....

Thank you!! It really depends on breeding. His is actually small compared to what I have seen. If he is young he wont have a big head growth for a year or two. Foods with good nutrients and good water quality will help too. :)

Ok I didn't know that. Then I have no clue what is wrong with him. Sorry I couldn't help more.

i do think he is healthy, he is active and eats and doesn't have any paleness in his scales, i really do think he has larger eyes, he is the largest of my three fish and both eyes are the same.
