He is. ^u^ My goldfish died a few days ago. :C His name was the same name all my goldfish were named: Goldy.
I am quitting.
This site has, sadly, gotten between me and my real life. I put aside things such as God, writing, and friends to be on here, and it has caused me too much pain and suffering.
This does not happen to all people, I would like to point out, and if you don't get addicted to things easily, this can be a fun website for you!
I thank you all for sharing your wonderful friendship and memories with me.
Love,

:) I got guppies! :D I originally bought 3, but one died, probably do to stress on the ride home. :( But the two I have now are really great. I've always loved guppies, as my parents had a tank full of them when I was little and my late great-grandfather had what seemed like 2,000 (it probably wasn't that many, but little me was quite impressed) in a huge tank at his house, and they were always so lively and happy and cute. :) They're both males; Hermes is supposed to be all yellow but he has the sweetest little black spatter on his fin, and Phirros is a striking red-orange color (his name litterally means "flame-coloured" in ancient greek!). They're in a 3-gallon heated tank with lots of soft plastic plants in the back for hiding in and some driftwood that looks like roots to swim through, and the gravel is natural-coloured. Soon I'll take a water sample into petsmart to have it tested for nitrates and other toxins naturally produced by the fish. :D

Anyone have tips?

So I got some duck weed and some mopani wood. Zoo med boils and sandblasts their wood already so I just have to soak it to leach the tannins out. Woot woot!!!! I also got a light for the tank,it looks so cool. Shiro is SO MUCH better. All of his scales are down and beautiful. He is swimming around in the tank itching to be back in the big one but im gonna keep him in there for a few more days just to be safe.

I've got a small clear 1 gallon tank fixed on the side of my ten gallon.
My female and male guppy have been in the same tank and I am expecting her to be/become fertilized.
I have been watching her, and I can't tell if there is any sign of babies yet, but if she does become pregnant she will go in the plastic clear tank this weekend.
Hopefully I will be around though, so I can make watch her and make sure no fry are eaten, then remove her afterwards so she can rest.

If I try and capture a photo does anyone think they could help me determine if she could be pregnant?
She isn't large, or very plump, but you can somewhat see the darker spot closer to her tail.

I can help with that, as I've had guppies that were pregnant before.

I noticed that and got excited. It sunk in the bucket so quickly. All I have to do is soak it for 4 days, nothing else. I love it. :p

Like I mentioned, Gwen isn't very plump, but she has been with Garett for half of a week and I just want to make sure if she is pregnant I actually know. In the video I have a net propped on the side of the clear tank to actually get her to be still. I swear I have the most active guppy in the world -__-' But I had to remove her from the ten gallon because Sharkbait and Garett kept hogging the camera while I tried to get the video xD Garett of course went crazy when I separated them ._. Haha cx
