Fish lovers!

I picked up a new cory today at petco while I was shopping. He's an emerald something and he doesnt look like my others. ^^ They didnt have any pandas or spotted ones because they get stocked on Wednesdays. I want to go back and see what others they have over spring break on a Wednesday or Thursday.
I named the new little catfish Dexter.

He's probably not a true cory. Chances are he's Brochis splendens.

Naw, he's definately a cory catfish. ^^ I meant that his color is a little different than my others, not that he looks funny. :3
I could have also read the wrong little paper, because he does school with my bronze cories.

just looked it up and indigos right, they arent true corys

This species is sometimes called the emerald cory. Brochis were separated from corydoras catfish by their longer dorsal fins with tall spiny first rays.

I think they had the tank mislabled.
Oh well, I love him just the same.

I do love fish they are so pretty. I don't own any right now though. I have in the past. I'v ehad three different betas, my first one was red and I called him Peep. My next one was red, white, and blue and I called him Swishy. My last one was blue and his name was Splash. They all lived longer than normal except for Splash, the cat got to him. My mom told me some exciting news about last week.. she said this spring I could get a few goldfish! I've always wanted some!

Make sure to get 20 gallons for the first fish, and 10 for each one after.

Make sure to get 20 gallons for the first fish, and 10 for each one after.

And make sure you get a filter rated for twice the size of the tank and a GPH for 10 times the size of the tank. (e.g a 20 gallon tank needs a filter rated for a 40 gallon and a GPH of 200.)

Bah!! Im salting my goldfish tank for parasites and I forgot that I had a cut on my finger and I stuck it in the salt/water mix!!!! I hope they love me for this.

Anyway i had to take my koi out of my tank cause he is ripping my plants to shreds :O
But i dont think its jsut him cause there ripped in half not pulled oout anyone have any idea who else couldve done it?
Ive got gourami,giant snails,balloon mollies,tandanus eeltail catfish,glass catfish, cories,dojo loaches and 2 plecos.
