I'm so happy! All of my fish survived the move :D
Although, the tank looks kind of gross at the moment from all the stuff under the gravel that got stirred up -_-

I couldn’t count on anyone to stand there behind me
And keep the dogs from dragging me off with them
While I slept you crept in and pulled the rug right out from under me
Then the rain stole away and took the parts that kept me functioning

My heart will be blacker than your eyes when I’m through with you

Om nom tuna fish
I personally love fish, they're gorgeous and very relaxing to watch. I would have as many as I could care for if I wasn't a horrible fish mommy- all the fish I get die long before their time is up no matter how hard I try to care for them. ;-; That, and my dogs try to eat them.

So the tannins don't leach out in large amounts. Like soaking it, or boiling it, etc. A little discoloration doesn't bother me. I just don't want it to look like I've replaced the water with beer. It already sinks, though.

Boil, rinse, boil, rinse, boil, rinse. Until there is no nasty water coming out. That's what I have read.

Yay congrats <3
@toboelover Thats a nice betta Im jelly :p

@Grimace What kind of filtration are you trying to set up?

So my cousin and his wife came over yesterday for a funeral. She loves animals like me and we started talking about fish so she came over and looked at my tank. I totally got her into goldfish keeping. :D They have a plan to move to my town and live near us. She wants to make a pond and breed goldfish with me. <3
Update on Kimi: She is doing fine, I did a water change on her tank last night and she kept swimming towards the siphon. -.-
Seems she didn't learn her lesson the first time so im going to get some fishnet and put is over the opening so she don't get sucked up in it again.

But a question too..: how hard is it to take care of guppies and the fry? I have a ten gallon tank set up that I will put the two guppies I'm going to buy in. Is buying live plants or a fry box thing better for the fish? And is it true that guppies actually like dirty tanks (since apparently they're bottom feeders? [according to my godmother x3])?

Thank youuu~

Guppies and guppy fry are not hard to take care of at all,ive got mine in a 5 gallon tank with gravel 3 plants no heater and no filter and there popping out babies all the time

Thanks ^^ I have THIS FILTER. It won't hurt/suck up the fry, will it? I have no idea how to cover it with a fishnet or anything.

i did her a favor cutting bird dave out of her life
