But a question too..: how hard is it to take care of guppies and the fry? I have a ten gallon tank set up that I will put the two guppies I'm going to buy in. Is buying live plants or a fry box thing better for the fish? And is it true that guppies actually
like dirty tanks (since apparently they're bottom feeders? [according to my godmother x3])?

There very easy to breed and take care of. There not bottom feeders, so keep the water as you would any fish. Also, if your planning on buying one male and one female, you should rethink that, there needs to be two females to every male so he doesn't harass one female. It would be better to buy a net breeder so they don't get eaten, but if you have live plants for them to hide in they should be fine. If I remember right I had 11 that lived with there parents without getting eaten.
