My yellow glofish is just sitting at the bottom of the tank by one of my plants. I went to see if it was still alive and it swam around then returned to the same spot and is still there. Do you think it's just sleeping there or is there something wrong?

I do not know a lot about small aquatic invertebrates but i know a little about fish. Sometimes fish just rest and other times they are sick. I would keep an eye on him for the next couple days. Check your water's temperature and the PH levels of the water. You want to make sure you arent the cause of the fish's inactivity.

He still is eating well and he's the only one that I've seen do that. Now he and the two other glofish are taking turns chasing each other

Okay, so I have two balloon mollie in a 10 gallon tank. The bigger one is black (earlier I had asked for what would sort of happen (looks or behaviour wise) if my balloon molly was pregnant, I found answers and he's not.) My other balloon molly is about half an inch long (don't know if it's a boy or girl yet, and I don't know if it's black or orange (came from a orange male and black female).

the smaller one (Chevrolet) seems to be missing out on most of the food, he's generally at the bottom when I put the flakes in and I have to watch for a while until he comes up. Is this normal?

Another thing is, would Chevrolet be big enough for me to let my betta into the tank, or should I wait till he/she is bigger?

My betta is about 2 inches long, I do believe he's a splenden. I'm new to the fish hobby and I didn't do much research on tank size for a betta, I stupidly got my nice betta a half gallon tank and now I feel really bad.

I don't have the money for a bigger tank for him, the only thing bigger I can give him is the 10 gallon with the balloon mollies.

I'm sure he is a splenden. Most pet stores don't carry wild types, and most wild types don't look like most splendens.

Individual bettas can have different personalities, so all you can do really to know for sure is to put him into the tank and watch to see how they get along. If the mollies or the betta start showing signs of aggression, you should seperate.

Why is she keeping bettas, guppies, and goldfish all in the same tank? And a 10 gallon at that. Besides that, you'd have to convince her to move her male betta, too.

What are you doing with guppies and a beta with goldfish??? You should NOT mix goldfish with any thing other than goldfish. (not yelling, jus emphasis, lol) I would fix that tank set up asap :)

You can put small goldfish with white cloud mountain minnows. Or a nerite snail with all sizes of goldfish.

Hngh. I used to have a canal in my backyard that was saltwater (it led to the ocean), and I could always see marvelous fish. There used to be a barracuda that always visited in the afternoon, he was quite a highlight of my day. I think someday I will buy a house with a canal like that, because seeing the fish was amazing. Oh I do miss it. ;;
