They are really fun to watch :D xD

my tank is 40G and im getting 2 angelfish 6 gold widow(skirt) tetra, and about 15 neon tetra (I know the angels could eat them but Im hoping that as I'm getting the angels young that as they grow up with them they wont see them as food)

The skirts are great I got eight about 2-3 years ago now Im down to two, I think I may get more but I dont know at this point. I have the black skirts but I saw gold and green glow skirts at petco yesterday 0.0 the gold are really pretty (the greens look a little strange) I found that getting young fish works great for that my angels are actually about the size of the swordtail xD and they are afraid of the female betta's for some reason x3

CSF wrote:My platy had her babies last night! I count at least 6. There may be more, I was so happy when I woke up. Then I realized some had escaped from the net breeder. I don't know how but then I tried catching them. I managed to catch 4 and there are at least 2 more in the tank. I hope they don't get sucked into the filter though. I'm not sure how many she had originally because some may have gotten eaten...also my black Molly has has been showing the signs(I'm not sure how long it takes after they get pregnant to look like it) of being pregnant for about a week and a half. When should I separate her? Also any other suggestions for a breeding thing?

Can anyone help me with the last two questions? Thank you if you can ^-^

I am a fan of dojo loaches (more commonly known as weather loaches) and I have four or five, and a 30 gallon tank. First off, I love them a lot, and I want to have little baby ones, but I don't even know how to tell their gender. Secondly, I would like to know if the temperature needs to be a certain way, or the tank a certain size in order for them to breed? Thanks for answering if you know how...

I once bought 20 head-and-tail tetras and 15 feeder goldfish just 'cause. Bad mistake. They killed each other right in front of my eyes. :o

I have had a betta with mollies, not balloon mollies though.

I don't really like angelfish because they get so big. I got five about 5 years ago, two are still alive today, but there so big!
