I Got my goldie tank all done
Its got black gravel and a tiki head in it with some green and red fake plants in it,ive got 4 goldies,1 butterfly, 2 ryukins and 1 fantail,they are so cute,ill have to find my camera cord so i can show you guys

Today when I was feeding my cories, my cherry shrimp found a flake and was eating it, and the cories stole it from him xD

Haha yeah it was cute:) I don't think you can, but some people say they are fine at room temp. So maybe look it up As far as I know there aren't.


Alright guys I'm going to the pet store and going to wait on my rodent issues so I think I'll get a bag of sand and maybe 1-2 cories. I wanted to get three or four for my five gallon but I dont want to put to much of a bio load on it and I don't know when the next time is my mom Will take me to the store. So yeah. I'm also going to see how much pumps for koi ponds are

Oh good god, its like this thread was MADE for me. My heart jumped when I saw the title.

So anyway, involving cycling questions, my ammonia is at 0 my nitrites at 0 but my nitrates are at 25 ppm. Water change? Just trying to be sure. It's lightly planted with Hornwort in a 30G for a telescope goldfish.

Alright this is what I got.

I got three cories. One peppered, one albino, and one that has very dark brown on the top and a little white on the bottom. ( never seen one before) and I got a moss ball for my cherries, some sinking wafers, and some stuff for the water. The cories together were $9, moss ball was $2.29, wafers were $5, and the stuff for the water was $7 but my mom paid for it. Plus I had to get stuff for my rodents, so I'm clean out of money, but it was worth it xD The four cories I had are only like an inch for some reason, they are really tiny compared to the three I just got. There pretty active and mostly all school together. I named the albino Sandy, peppered one Domino, and the other ( don't know breed) chocolate xD

Dont cories need heaters? You can't house much with goldfish except goldfish. The other fish will get eaten(the goldfish will eat ANYTHING they can get in their mouths), or the fish will eat the goldfish or their slime coat. I have heard of other goldie keepers use snails. But your filters should be up to speed and the goldfish love to pick at the gravel for food so I don't think you really need a bottom feeder.
Edit: if you really want bottem feeders here is a list that have worked well for others.

The Cory I said was brown is actually a emerald Cory yes yes I know / fail. His colors are so dark they look brown xD He does seem to be doing so good though... There was a feeding frenzy with the sinking wafers xD

Theres pictures of about everybody in the album Sora and Cleo however HATE and I mean HATE the camera so I still have to get good pictures of them
