if you have a net tip them all in then pick out the ones you wanna keep and put the rest back in the container?
(if that would work)

I got some in my tank :) I poured the container over another one so the water could go in there. Lets just say the ones that got put in the tank were the ones that jumped and landed on the desk cause I had to catch them anyway >.> They jump and scare the crap out of me! And they jump far too!!!!
I'm kind of worried about Kaibas fins :( Over the weekend some parts of his white turned pinkish salmon colored...Anyone have any idea?

I wouldn't worry. I have a betta with orange fins and the tips started to turn black, but now the fins are all outlined in a pretty royal blue.

I've made up my mind that if my mollies dont make it, I'm just gonna make my 10 gallon a catfish species tank.
I've read that with cory catfish, the 1 inch of fish per gallon rule doesnt apply to an extent because they dont move around that much and they like to school.
Any thoughts on that?
Also, how many cories would you suggest putting in a 10 gallon if I made it a species tank?

I would say four, but if you feed them well ( algae wafers, sinking pellets ect) then maybe six :) If they are pymgy (think that's how you spell it xD) then you could have about 8-10.

I have three at the moment. (2 bronze and 1 albino) I feed them a mix of flakes (for the mollies), sinking shirmp pellets, and algae wafers.
I was thinking I'd either get 1 more bronze and 2 more albinos or I'd go for 1 albino and 2 pandas or spotted... /facedesk
I feel that 6 or 7 total would be a good number after some research as long as I am religious about my water changes.

Thanks Indy :) I wasn't sure if it had something to do with the amount of blood traveling to his fins or if it was just color changing...how awesome would it be if all his white turned to the pinky/salmon color! he'd be blue and pink! haha!

Kazoo: That would be awesome! :D I don't know about other people cory's but mine are super active! As I was typing this all three of them used the front of the tank to swim from one side to the other! It was so funny! I think for a 10 gallon, since its a species tank, you could fit 6-8 Corys :) But that's just my personal opinion

Hmmm.... then I guess I'm decided that I'll mix species of cories until I get a total of 7. ^^
I love to watch Melvin and Gus(my two bronze cories) swim around together and would LOVE to see them travel in a larger group.
Although I realize that the top of my tank will long pretty empty.... another betta is out of the question because I have too strong of a filter and pretty harsh plants. /le shrug Cories are too cute. <3
