May and Lola had another playdate :) It was much too cold for a Beaker to join them, though. Surprisingly, this isn't snow! Just a very heavy layer of frost.

He's doing well! He will be a year old next month, I can hardly believe it. He's got his quirks and sometimes makes me want to pull my hair out but experiencing him and all his qualities that I've never had in a dog before have been worth it. I'm on mobile and can't see your whole signature, is that a Silken or a LHW? :)

That's good! I can't believe he's almost a year old as well. It feels like you got him yesterday!
And Geyser's a Silken Windhound : D

@fairytale.
They both look adorable!

@Keriae
Congrats! I can't wait to see more pictures!

Well, Epic no longer barks on leash, she screams.

We've been working on disengaging from things and giving into leash pressure. Did some loose leash walking practice with jut her collar and by the end she was doing really good.
I'm struggling with decoy set ups. I stole a dog today but we just couldn't find a safe area with enough distance so the whole thing was kind of awkward. Epic did good though.

There's this behaviour that I have no idea what it is, and was wondering if anyone might know.
Epic will lay down under the table, and there are usually people there. Someone could be tapping/sliding their foot across the floor a couple feet from where she is. Their foot never touches her and their movements aren't extreme, but she will seemingly randomly jump up and 'go after' their foot. It's not play, and she never actually bites, but it's like right in between and I'm having a hard time understanding. I wish I had a video to slow down, but it happens quite randomly.
They never touch her, and she looks relaxed and is lying down. I wish she'd growl.

    @ keriae - omg! so cute!! haha yeah, my dog smiles a lot and it's so adorable.

    @ day of silence - huh, that's kinda weird. I've never heard or seen dogs having erratic behavior like that lol but that's just me I guess. is there anything that could be triggering her acting like that? maybe she's just possessive or territorial or w/e

    night . wrote:Well. Today just turned from amazing to horrible. I got home to my mom crying when I hugged her. Got in the house, didn't see Rosie anywhere. Mom didn't want to tell me until I got back because I was having a good time with my brother and all. But I feel awful. I loved that dog. She said she got loose and probably went looking for me somewhere. They found her last Sunday on the road with just a collar on and her tags missing. I just don't know what to do right now, I can't believe she's gone and all I have left is her collar.

    omg :( i'm so sorry. i've never lost a dog, but I know how it feels to lose a pet, especially those that are close in the family. that's horrible, and i'm sorry you had to experience that.

    Yeah I know c: We were just chatting and I said she smiles and he was like "nah, she don't"
    as far as I'm concerned it's a smile! She does it all the time and sometimes on command, too c: considering she doesn't know any tricks I'm proud of her!
    And she's also a darling and I love her to pieces already
