2. Belgian Laekenwois, the curly haired cousin, being a big Belgian fan I would love a curly haired one
3. Shetlie, but only in bi blue, I saw one at a dog show last weekend and it was so cute

Who doesn't love something that has sommuch energy it vibrates constantly? These dogs are a great excuse to get a BC if you can't have something too heavy or large. Plus they are the cutest things u v u

I would put rhodisian ridgeback on there but my first dog was a rhodisian x boxer ( a lot more rhodisian then boxer. They only got the boxer personality and some slight boxer build

If your using the same treats and rewarding frequently, it's completely possible she may be getting bored of the treats. When teaching classes since we have to keep the dog engaged for an hour, I always ask the students bring 3 kinds of treats mixed in a bag, that way the reward is different every time. The dog doesn't know what it will get. I really like the treat brand "My Mighty Wolf" and freeze dried beef liver or bits of chicken are always a hit in the reactive dog class. Or tuna treats (which are easily made by mixing flour, eggs and a tin or two of tuna together then baking for like 15 minutes in the over I'd look into mixing up her treats and keeping your training sessions 5 minutes or under, be super engaging and if you're teaching something boring to her don't dwell on it too long and add in tricks you know she likes every once in a while, use a happy upbeat voice, if she likes toys, stop and have a play break. The more fun you make training, the more she'll look forward to it and you'll be able to extend your sessions. Charlie gets 2 15 minute sessions of training pretty much every day- and he loves it because of a lot of the above things I've done. Hope that makes sense and helps a bit

top three breeds:

1: dachshund; longhair.
It's been my dream to own one ever since I sawthem when I was little.
I've always been fond of hound breeds as that's all I've ever owned.

2: chihuahua
Their mighty personality makes me laugh; they think they're huge dogs and I think it's hilarious.

3:Basset Hound
Well I own a basset so I have a huge connection with the breed alone. Their floppy ears and their personality is great <3

Mini Border Collies its another fashion breed bred by money grabbers. What is it with all these fad breeds ( teacups, mini's, pomskies, corgskies ) that makes people want to buy them so much to be honest I don't get it, I see so many deformities in tea cup that buyers think are cute with out really looking in to things.

I'm trying to teach Dixie the "cover your eyes" trick, but from all the tutorials and instructional videos I've seen, a post-it note or piece of tape is usually put on the dog's nose or between its eyes, and then the dog is encouraged to try to remove it.

In my attempts so far, this technique does not work for us. Dixie knows the "balance" trick and when I put something on her head or nose, she is usually expected to hold and balance it there.
Unfortunately, she does the same thing with post-it notes and tape.

Any tips for us?

1. Toss up between Doberman and Great Dane

I don't know what it is about these giant breeds, but they draw me in. I love Great Danes because of their gentle giant nature, but Dobermans are also just beautiful and majestic-looking (which is why I love reading about Jazi's Creed). I think it might be because I ride and I love riding larger horses, so you know, larger dogs really call to me ahaha.
2. Plott

I have always wanted a hound, and Plotts are medium energy and size, and they seem like a great dog. I would definitely enjoy one as opposed to one more high energy (of course, I would be able to exercise the dog, but high energy plus confined space typically isn't pretty) so this would be a dog I would love to have. Plus, like I said, I've always wanted a hound type.
3. Toss up between Irish Wolfhound and Scottish Deerhound

Again, I don't know what it is about these breeds that draws me to them but they are simply awesome. I just love bigger dogs. My mother thinks that I think it's a status sign, but it's really something just about these dogs. I mean, when Dezi was big from muscle, I loved her more in those few weeks (we cut down because the muscle was making her look violent aha) just because she was bigger (Guys, I still love her just the way she is, and she's the world's most perfect puppy in my eyes) and I felt like there was actually a dog.

Hmm, you can wait until she does it naturally and then reward, but this might not work well if she doesn't do it often.
My dog will do it when we put something on her head that has a elastic strap cause she doesn't like the strap pressing against her head, but Dixie probably won't mind.

Maybe get something sticky (peanut butter?) and put it between her eyes/on her nose (where she can't lick it) but this would probably get messy and might not work.

Or you can try manually making her cover her face and then rewarding. Just be careful not to bend her legs weird

oh the choices... It's so hard to just pick 3!

1. Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever
Man, I love this breeed! <3 They're a good size, not too big for what I'm looking for. Their coat is absolutely gorgeous, too. I could 100% see myself owning one in the future, when I have the time and money for a toller. I like their energy and biddability, which is fantastic for the sports I'd like to get into.

2. Golden Retriever
Not gonna lie, my trainer made me fall in love with goldens. <3 They're so athletic and intelligent, which is also something I'd like in a dog I'm looking to do obedience and rally, maybe even agility, with.

3. Greyhounds
Totally different from the above two, but I adore greyhounds as well. Likely to own one (or 4...) when I'm looking for a laidback, relaxed pal to travel around with, perhaps when I'm in university and don't have as much available time to go on 4 hour hikes and such. Plus, big bonus of being able to adopt a retired racer from the local greyhound rescue! They get to know all the dogs they get in really well, and always manage to find one to fit your lifestyle and are always willing to help out with you and your hound.

Flat coated retrievers and springer spaniels were right up in the list, too, but I haven't had any personal experiences with them or done too much reading into.

1. Greyhound - I have always wanted a big dog and need a more laid back couch potato type so a Greyhound would be a greyt choice for me, lol. I love rescues and that they come in brindle. I also love that they're 'leaners'.

2. Border Collie - Border Collies are a beautiful dog breed. They are also very atheletic. Right now I could never handle one due to my health but I dream of and attempt to get well and if I could do that maybe I could have one of these dogs. Maybe even raise it from a puppy and do some sports with it.

3. Peruvian-Inca-Orchid - I love hairless dogs, having been totally won over by my own hairless dog. This breed comes in some beautiful colors. Although I can't imagine being able handle a puppy of any breed I would like to adopt an adult or senior of this breed someday.
