- So Lyra's reactivity has flared up a lot in the past few days - I didn't think the husky attack would effect her this much. :c
I asked my friend to hold her for a second out on our walk today, a woman came around the corner with her big chocolate labrador (which was minding its own business) and Lyra just went mental - not her usual kind of cowering and snarling thing either, she started growling and lunging, barking her head off. I ran over to her and grabbed the leash and she stopped, so I thought it might have just been because someone else was holding her...nope.
Went for a run afterwards and whenever we went past a dog she'd start barking and lunging (thankfully she didn't stop running, though - rope burn would've been catastrophic) and would only shut up once they were completely out of sight.
On our morning run we met a woman and her little dog who was also very timid, she asked why Lyra was so frightened and I told her she was attacked, apparently her dog was too - twice in one week, possibly by the same dog - she said she didn't let hers off-leash now because he was becoming reactive to other dogs.
