I was thinking she was right at Muggers age (9 weeks, will be 10 weeks Tuesday) but I wasnt 100% sure. It will be neat to see the size difference as they grow since she will be much larger then him

Yeah I think they are about the same age. Not sure on her birthday, my mom forgot to ask the breeder. She's already starting to get bigger! It's amazing, I picked her up yesterday and I was like 'oh my gosh your getting big Annie!'

So I just found out that the sweetest puppy I have ever met (and Epic's good play mate), has ended up back on the streets.
My friend had given her (Missy) to disabled war veteran, who eventually couldn't keep up with her, so gave her to an american couple, who either let her out onto the street, or lost her and haven't bothered to get her back.
I am so mad right now, but you could see it coming. The only reason he took her was because nobody else was, and he claimed he had a 'yard' for her to run around in (5' x 5').
And I highly doubt my friend will try and help get her off the street as she didn't even do a home check, or really even ask about any of the dogs she's homed. It's just... erg.
There's also about four other dogs looking for fosters.

But she is seriously the sweetest dog, she'll run up to you and sit at your feet just looking up at you, waiting to be pet. She'd make friends with everyone, she loved other dogs, she was seriously perfect. Now she's back on the street.

The link doesnt work.
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe

Do you own a dog?: Not myself but I live with dogs, both at my parents and my other halfs parents. One day when I am settled I will get my own. Until then I am happy to share dogs haha. :lol:

Favourite dog breed?: German shepherd dog will always be my favourite. Even from a young age it was my favourite. I do also like Bernese mountain dogs, Husky's, Border collies and most large dogs.

Tell us about your dog(s), if you have any!:

Kenco;

Hes meant to be a cross breed with a GSD but it hardly shows, he looks more like a lanky staffy or quite like a ridge back. He was 10 this year although he doesn't act like it. My parents rescued him from the RSPCA when he was only 6 weeks old, his mother was a GSD but it wasn't clear what the father was because he wasn't rescued. He's a very sensitive dog but is the most loving dog i've ever known...Even if he doesn't listen to me on walks. He's getting a bit porky now he's met double figures but he's still twice as quick as Busta on walks.
Image

Busta;
When Kenco was around 4 years old, we decided it was time to adopt again to get Kenco a friend. We looked at all different rescue centres but due to Kenco's past in the rescue centres, he didn't cope with any other dogs from any other rescue centres so we ended up finding a breeder who wanted to breed their German shepherd girl just once before spaying her. I went with my mother and brother and it was clear that this next dog was going to be mine. There was loads of them all running around, adorable. It was so hard to pick but what made me fall in love was how Busta didn't have to run after his brothers or sisters, he was so chunky and big he just trod behind them keeping up fine. That was when I picked him up and fell head over heels. Last year, Busta was diagnosed with Auto immune disease and almost died. It tore at all the family's heart strings and even thinking about it now hurts. He's recovered a lot but he will never be cured. I love him so much, he's just as loving as Kenco which I sometimes find hard to believe but he has learnt well off his brother.
Image

Marley;
I currently live with Marley after moving in with my other half, he is a German shepherd dog too. Same age as Busta but completely different. Being brought up completely different, hes adorable but so dominant its unreal. I love him to bits, he's bigger than Busta and quite a handful but he's got such a loving side and can be obedient when he wants to be. I've only lived with him for a year so I've not been around for too long but he's always around to give kisses and play with his tug toy. Even if only lately i've been getting him to give me kisses rather than nibbles haha.

So Epic's playdate with Honey didn't go so well.
They were playing, then Epic had to take a dump, but Honey kept interrupting her, so she went all over the field.
I needed two bags, but only had one, so I went to get another. Epic was to stay in the field with Honey and her owner so they could continue playing. But Epic just wanted to follow me, and even went racing into the house (I expected her to stop at the door since she was off leash and Honey was still in the field, but no).
Then we came out and the local watchdog (akita mix) went on barking, which is very abnormal. So I called Epic and we started back to the field.
Then Archie the JRT was out, everything was fine at first, but then he went after Epic. Epic turned and ran, but when Archie didn't let up, she went after him.
I managed to grab Epic, but it wasn't till a bit that someone could grab the terrier and pull him out.

I think the terrier got some puncture wounds and a couple scrapes but nothing really serious. I got a nip on the knee, more bruising then blood, and I can't find anything on Epic.

Epic recovered quickly and was fine with Archie being around, but Archie probably would have had another go if he was able to. I'm hoping this doesn't make Epic's leash reactivity and fear of dogs worse.

Fun morning.
