ahh whiskey is an amazing name.

I'm not very good with names, but I had the others around me help a bit

Small photo dump o some Izzy pictures and a quick update.

Today I took Izzy to the vet, yesterday her paws were extremely swollen and I thought maybe a cactus spine or something had gotten stuck inside of them. It looked really bad and she was limping so I tried just putting some warm water and neosporin on them to help with swelling. This morning she woke up and wasn't limping at all, swelling went completely down except for on one foot there was still some swelling and so I took her to the vet anyway cause I needed to get heart worm meds for her, and just to be safe then sorry. Her paws are perfectly fine and nothing is in them, so she made me look like a liar haha

Also another question, our Shih-Tzu is about 3-4 lbs over weight and we have already done a lot to help him lose weight like correct his diet, less treats, healthier treats etc. and I finally convinced my mom to start taking him on short walks. Anything else we can do?

I know its not the most original thing ever but I ran into someone with a Mal named Crowley after the occultist/author Alistair Crowley, at a bitework competition, and thought it was totally awesome.

Cobain is cool too, I have a thing for naming dogs after musicians. My boxer/doberman mix (who is a trained protection dog btw) is named after Jeordie White from MM.

From your list I also like Tate.

There was an owner on the last thread who's dogs were modelling for a dog boutique store.

I absolutely love ombre rope leashes! Epic has a rope leash, we just haven't been able to find any fabric dye here, so we're stuck with just white.

I bought an old belt (with current exchange rate, it would be 63 cents in USD), and I cut it shorter, borrowed my brothers leather hole punch, and made Epic a nice new tag collar.
It's black, but the buckle is a nice silver with some designs, and it looks really nice on Epic.

Yesterday, my sister came over and told me how well Epic did with two chihuahuas going after her!
I think Epic is pretty good with small dogs and puppies (on leash) as she isn't as scared of them (unless they go after her), but even with both of them going after her, she didn't freak out or go after them.
Thankfully they're gone now. They barked at everyone and their dogs, and it was so annoying listening to them all day while their owners just went about their partying.
They went after the watchdog, and he gave them a growl and air snap and they backed off, but most of the other dogs were either freaked out by them, or didn't give a damn.

Today's my last day with Archie, so I'll be moving back to my family's place (and my room), so I'll be able to work with Epic more. The last walk I took her on, I made a point of finding all the scary things, and just working on them with her. And now that we have a long leash, we're working on recall with distractions.
And it's finally dried up enough that we should be able to work more on the dog run, but unfortunately it also depends on a couple other people, so who knows.

@Silence actually I was just talking about that with my mom! haha I found some boots at petsmart that seemed to be made of like a nylon material with a hard bottom. They are like dog hiking boots and I feel like they would actually protect her feet pretty well. So I am going to do some research on them just to see price, quality, and how customers who bought them feel about them. If they work well then I will most likely buy them, I don't want Izzy getting anything stuck in her paws anymore.

Well then. I've basically avoided this person anyways. Lets her female dog get bred every heat cycle because they 'want puppies!' then never keep any of the puppys?? Like.. No.. You obviously don't want them, lol. The bitch gave birth in an absolutely filthy plastic dog house with no bedding. The puppies are super young and already look sickly and I no they wont get any vet care..

GET OFF MAH STATUS. For wanting the puppies she sure is desperate to get rid of them...
