This vacation has reaffirmed repeatedly that I am at max a 2 dog person. Dealling with 3 larger young-ish dogs is driving me banana's. It probably doesn't help that they are all under-stimulated and allowed to exhibit super rude behaviors like counter surfing/snatching right under your nose, jumping on you, stealling items.. ._.; It makes living with Juniper a pleasant experience.. Which is a pretty huge feat.

Yesterday I was in the kitchen pulling a hot pan of chicken from the the oven, turned, and immediately tripped over a dog laying in the very middle of the kitchen?! WHY ARE DOGS ALLOWED IN THE KITCHEN WHEN WE'RE COOKING. So last night and today all three have learned 'out' and know we mean it when we say it. My mother-in-law isn't pleased with us "Being mean to her poor abused babies" and I rreeaalllyy don't care at this point, being shoo'd out of a room is way better than having a hot pan dropped on them.

I Decided not to Adopt Jackson.If i did then i would need to wait a while in order to Foster. ANyways they accepted me. I start fostering in 4 months though.


Good news! Rolo and Twix got all of their papers and shot done! everything is done.

These are my mother in laws dogs. Seirra is a shelter mutt, Coco was found on the side of a busy main road with a pretty serious medical condition, and King was bought from a super crappy breeder by one of her relatives then given to her when he moved.

These are my two:

Juniper: Was given to me second hand as a really young puppy.

Lucky: She belonged to my ex and when I moved out she came with me, he just didn't have the time for her. She was chained to a fence and left when the owners moved out.

5th fight. Awwww yeah.

MIL was standing in the doorway to the bedroom we're using. Seirra, Coco, and King shoved through the door and jumped onto Juniper AND Lucky. Took a few minutes to get the chaos sorted. Juniper and Sierra latched faces. I had Juniper suspended by her collar while Coco bit up her legs and under carriage and the bf legit had Coco lifted off the ground by her collar and chucked her out the the room. Then Lucky decided she'd had enough and WENT AFTER COCO. Got them separated. Seirra and Coco went after one another and King tried to join. I got nailled in the hand by I have no idea, Seirra tagged the mother twice; once on the arm and on the leg. At this point we're not sure who's blood is who's. xP

We've had fun, its been a bit stressful juggling the dogs, but Juniper has had a blast swimming and going places with us. Ready to go home though! We leave in a couple of days.
