@Moxxi We buy a thing called Source because Izzy (Boxer mix) has allergies to grain as well. For a large 20lb bag I think it is like 50-60. You can order it online on petsmart and they give you free shipping. We currently have a petsmart close to us but I am going to be moving Izzy with me to college this year and there isn't a petsmart near me so I will be purchasing it online. It ships free anywhere in the US. So maybe look into that?
@Dogs4Life I would suggest that you don't breed your dogs. If they don't have papers, and they don't have shots then you shouldn't breed them. You will only be adding to the over populated shelters and many of the puppies could be euthanized if they end up in a shelter. Plus breeding costs a lot of money, and over all I just think it is a bad idea. Besides you don't seem like you are very old, taking on that responsibility is a HUGE thing. Young people should not be doing that... Especially if you don't have the money, resources and everything else I already mentioned. If you get a dog, especially two I and you hardly even know what they are I suggest you just don't. I would love pictures of your dogs though.
I am not upset with you at all, I am just saying this doesn't sound like a good idea. Breeding dogs is a lot more expensive and a lot of hard work. I know it doesn't seem like it, and it seems as though you can just toss them in the back yard and let them breed and then you can sell your pups, but that isn't how it works.
