@Cardinal

I can never get pictures of them because they are both like super camera shy. if they even see me pull out my phone/camers they run away from me x3

@fascai

I mean, i recently bought them from the same owner who raised them for around 2 years and 5 months. i have had them for a few months. He didn't mention any papers or anything. so i asked his vet and he said they dont have their shots for them to to have puppies.

@Jo Kerr
ok.ok.I'm sorry.OH- sorry i didn't think your dog was pit bull-It was american staffordshire terrier

Waylon gets the worst allergies and the only grain free dog food we can find is ridiculously expensive and comes in small bags. We buy it of course but we've been trying to find something more cost effective.

Have you tried 4Health? They have a grain free formula that comes in a couple flavors. We used to buy it for our dogs, but with 3 large dogs, a 30 pound bag just doesn't last long. It normally runs around a dollar a pound. My dogs loved it! I will admit that it's not the cheapest dog food, but it's better priced than other brands I've personally seen.

@Moxxi We buy a thing called Source because Izzy (Boxer mix) has allergies to grain as well. For a large 20lb bag I think it is like 50-60. You can order it online on petsmart and they give you free shipping. We currently have a petsmart close to us but I am going to be moving Izzy with me to college this year and there isn't a petsmart near me so I will be purchasing it online. It ships free anywhere in the US. So maybe look into that?

@Dogs4Life I would suggest that you don't breed your dogs. If they don't have papers, and they don't have shots then you shouldn't breed them. You will only be adding to the over populated shelters and many of the puppies could be euthanized if they end up in a shelter. Plus breeding costs a lot of money, and over all I just think it is a bad idea. Besides you don't seem like you are very old, taking on that responsibility is a HUGE thing. Young people should not be doing that... Especially if you don't have the money, resources and everything else I already mentioned. If you get a dog, especially two I and you hardly even know what they are I suggest you just don't. I would love pictures of your dogs though.
I am not upset with you at all, I am just saying this doesn't sound like a good idea. Breeding dogs is a lot more expensive and a lot of hard work. I know it doesn't seem like it, and it seems as though you can just toss them in the back yard and let them breed and then you can sell your pups, but that isn't how it works.

So proud of Foster-Mutt's (now known as Grace! It fits her <3) new mum. <3 Grace has been showing a bit of separation anxiety, so she's doing a lot of good reading and research.

- - - - -

And I'm just going to take a moment to thank I Am Baymax for suggesting Acana to me 5 months ago when I was looking for something for Dixie. :3 She's doing sooo well on it! We're starting a bag of Ranchlands right now (so far, we've rotated between mainly Wild Prairie and had a bag of Pacifica).
Her coat, I've always felt, was soft; but it's SUPER soft and shiny now. Everyone she meets always comments on her coat. ;v; She hasn't been having terrible farts or bouts of extremely bad breath (seriously, her breath would have occasions where I'd have to leave the room, because she'd "polluted" the entire room and it. was. rank. >__<)

~`~ Well i've been thinking to be a foster home for dogs. I have been thinkings about this ever since i bought Rolo and Twix. Any opinions? i know a nearby shelter that doesn't have many foster families.

Then do that! Why not be a foster home for a litter of puppies? It will show you some of the reality and hard work that goes into breeding a litter, but without the cost and some of the more intense things (such as the whole birthing process).

I'm going down on Tuesday! The breeder/owner wants me to meet and evaluate this dog's sister as well. The only thing I am iffy is about is that she would like to breed this female eventually. That would mean ~5 months where I could not work the dog. She says she is flexible and just wants the best for the dogs, so we'll see. Trying not to think too far ahead. First priority is temperament testing these two.
No puppies yet.

Fostering is a great idea, it will teach you a lot and save a dog's life.

    I feel like I haven't posted many pictures of Korasaurus recently, so prepare yourselves for a small dump of photos from a few weekends ago (please snip if quoting!)!

    @ MacGyver

    Isn't Acana wonderful? Pricey, but so worth it! :'D Glad to hear Dixie's doing great on it (nothing worse than dog toots ;-;).

    Are you still doing agility with Dixie? Kora and I will be doing some agility stuff at a friend's place with our trainer and a few other people over the summer, just for fun, so I'd love to know how your pup is doing at it! c:
previously luminescent., just decided to change it up a bit! ^.^if you get the reference, you're a fantastic human c:
