Depends what you mean by "healthier".

My dog eats relatively healthy, and most of her food is meat based (chicken, fish, etc). I think there's a few things like barley or something in there too, but yeah, it's mostly meat. I haven't heard of carrots being part of the healthy diet, but then again I haven't really researched healthy diets for dogs specifically, either.

So what exactly do you mean by healthier? What are you planning on feeding her?

Carrots are okay for dogs, but don't do much for them. Carrots are 0 calories to dogs.

@darkvoodoo
They are so cute! How's Sugar doing?

--------------------------------------------------------

Great news guys! Epic is now starting her raw diet!
I talked to the lady and she says there's bone and organs in the patties, and she also changes the main meat on a fairly regular system. There's beef, turkey, chicken, lamb and pork. Epic won't be completely off kibble yet, she's probably going to get it for breakfast and a half a patty at supper.

:) thanks
The puppies are doing great. The male is smaller and more active then the female, but both are trying to walk.
Sugar is doing great with them. She is super protective and hates to leave them.
The puppies got their nails trimmed and dewormed today.
Still dont know which one we are keeping yet

Do you own a dog?: Yep! 2
Favorite dog breed?: Oooooh this is hard... Well, one of them, is a whoodle (Wheaten Terrier/Standard Poodle mix) c:
Tell us about your dog(s), if you have any!: I have a female whoodle, she's about 2 and a half years old, and we have a male coton de tulear and schnauzer mix (I honestly don't think there's a name for that XD) which we got on valentine's day c:
Pictures of your dog(s):

I took Geyser to a walk in conformation class, since I had no idea what I was doing, and afterwards the lady commented on how well we did and how pretty Geyser was. The show we entered is next weekend, so Geyser will have plenty more socialization by then. He's shown before, so I'm just the newbie at this :)

I've also been training him the foundation steps for agility. He knows paws, target, stopping on contacts, wrapping around stanchions/cones, and going through a small tunnel. I'm very happy with his progress, since he's been here a mere three weeks.

Geyser is so dang handsome, goodness. <3 Sounds like he is doing really well so far!(:

I picked up a watermelon and sliced it today. The dogs love watermelon so they sat next to me the whole time hoping I'd toss them some, and they earned a few pieces out of it. Cx
