wolves - your opinon?

I think wolves are pretty alright. They're not vicious beasts from hell, but they're definitely not the poor, misunderstood angels that people make them out to be, either. They're just animals. They have no understanding or sense of right and wrong and, in my opinion, regulated hunting of pretty much any non-endangered animal is a-okay, even if they're oh so "beautiful" and "cute".

I don't think humans should have any right to hunt an animal, even if they are not endangered.

I mean, I understand deer and all and rabbits. Stuff you can actually eat makes sense but hunting carnivores for fun and s trophys is just not right

Hunting of wolves and other carnivores is actually good for their population as a whole and, even then, they're nuisance animals in some areas and need to be controlled in some manner so as to not be preying on livestock and such. Why does it even matter if somebody eats their kill or not, anyway? I'm certainly no vegan, but the majority of people don't even need to eat meat in the first place, much less hunt it themselves, but they somehow get a free pass just for eating it? Alrighty then..

You should be locating wolves to were their needed, not killing them were their not. Lots of nature reserves would have a more diverse population of animals if they had some wolves, they keep the deer and elk from over populating, so there's more food for another animals. You should read up about what happened to Yellowstone National Park when they got wolves!

Hunting when done right and within the law is ultimately more ethical than tearing their families apart or letting it slowly die of cyanide.

I understand what you are saying but relocation is a very difficult process. If you've ever tried to find a safe home for a litter of puppies, imagine 600 puppies that could bite your face off. It sounds like a good idea but takes a lot of work. In the end, hunting is very quick, the animals do not suffer for long at all, and it does not endanger the human at all. On a small level, relocation has worked though, for example wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone and it made a huge impact on the environment for the better. But again, that is extremely circumstantial.

I think wolves are beautiful creatures and people are afraid of them for no reason! Go to netflix and check out The Snow Wolf Family And Me. They arent as dangerous as everyone thinks! I for one have been up close and personal with a real wolf. It was at an Indian convention and some one had a domesticated grey wolf. The endangered of the wolf spieces is the Red Wolf. There are only 100-130 living red wolves in North America. Im just glad most of them are safely living on Wild Life Preserves.
