Our last pregnant goat finally had her babies she had three tiny babies seeing that she had three and is a small goat.
They are sooo cute! They are a few hours old in these pics!

Hey, anyone have a name for a alpine goat that is mostly white with some tan brown on the back? Love to hear some names!!

I like the name of Karst ^_^ the pattern looks like limestone so that's where I got it from

This is my new goat family!
They are Mini Lamancha crosses.
Sadly, they are not as friendly or social as I'd like them to be, but I'm trying to work on that by holding the babies and giving them feed from my hands.

I've been trying to decide on names for them. Native American names, and Warrior tribe names are cool.
I found the names Kimi and Koko, but I'm not sure.
I don't want boring old livestock names. Lol Can y'all help? XD

For sure get two! Goats are herd animals and don't do well on their own. If you just want a pet i would sujest a small breed, easier to take care of and things like that. Goats mostly like alfalfa, plus better nutrients. And also some hay. It depends on the goat. Make sure you got a good fence or sorta good, they are sneaky creatures. lol Hope this helps! Congrats on your new little family! Might I suggest that your mama goat looks like she might either have a mineral deficiency, or possibly parasites? Her coat just looks rough to me, so if I were you I'd have her checked by the vet (or at the least, look up FAMACHA and try that). I hope you're not upset at unsolicited advice - I'd just hate it for you (and her) if she was sick and you didn't know.

Thanks for your advice! She had been wormed, but I found out she was having an ear infection from a tick bite. I had to clean it and treat her with antibiotics. She was sick for a little while..
But she is much better now. Her two kids are so grown!
