Can you tell your tank size, how it's stocked(+which fish is sick), what's your water change rutine and what are the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels at the moment? If possible pic of the sick fish to make sure it's actually fin rot and not just ripped or nipped fins.
Fin rot is very often due poor water quality, so if you keep the water in tip top condition it should go away on it's own. But if you must medicate it; one possible medicine could be something called Myxazin by Waterlife(it doesn't kill filter bacteria like some other anti-bacteria medicine do, so it's pretty mild).

It's a 5 gallon tank, one betta, and I change approx 2 gallons a week. The bottom fin and the tail have darkened at the ends, and are a little ripped. I think it was because of a fake plant, so I took that out. I don't know the ammonia, nitrates, and nitrates. I'll try to get a picture.
So more frequent water changes would work? How often and how much?

Hey, I was wondering if you guys could recommend a gravel vaccum?

I only have a 13 gallon tank, so it doesn't have to be huge (especially since I have that weird Aqueon Widescreen tank). Doesn't have to have a super long hose either as the aquarium is less than 10 feet from a sink.
I would also prefer one that I could get through Amazon, if at all possible.

I kinda of recommend my dad use it when he clean the fish tank since I can't, but he only use it for the guppies and golden fish tank, it kinda of helps get all the food from the gravel, we have 3 of them but different kinds there one he use a lot it where you have to pump it, and it stuck in all the food or dirting water or poop from the rock and when u stop pumping it just release the rock back, sorry if I got you confused.

(I am so bad at explaining cx)

Yes, I am aware of what they are used for, that's why I want one. I'm looking for opinions on the best brands/types/etc.
Sorry if that wasn't clear in the original post.

Could you take a picture from the other side so I can see both sides of it? And do you know the name of the decoration he's stuck in?

I googled "my fish is stuck in a decoration" and some people pulled the fish out by the tail. Others were lucky and just had to tilt the ornament so gravity would pull the fish out of the hole. Maybe you could try tilting it? I don't know about pulling your fish out by the tail, but he seems to be more stuck in him front half than his back half, so do you think gently pushing on his front end would work? Use your own judgement. I don't know how stuck he is, and you have a much better view of his predicament.

I can't upload the picture I got him out but the one of the fins by the breeding spot is and one of his fins are kinda bent. Also the other fish have been chasing him like nuts I don't think he has scars or anything else.

Hey guys I was just wondering a thing; I know you are supposed to have heaters and filters in a tank, but I was wondering if it was alright that I don't have a filter in one of my betta tanks? It houses one male betta and it is one 1/2 gallons with a heat source but it doesn't have a filter? The whole tank is cleaned out about maybe every two or three weeks and it has one tiny little fake plant with gravel in it. so is it alright if I don't have a filter in it?

I guess it alright I dont put a filter in my beta's fish tanks because they freak out no matter what, but you will have to clean the tank a lot, make sure the beta fish have enought space to hide and swim around. If the beta fish stress out from the filter give it some days for it to get used to but my beta fish neevr had a filter in their tanks, they lived in a cup when i got them from the pet store.

Cycled, filtered and heated? If the fake plant was plastic instead of silk, then it could be the source of the rips.
Yes more frenquent changes should work, also make sure you don't over feed(that's what caused fin rot to happen in my tank). I'd maybe start changing the water twice a week, 2 gal at a time should probably be okay. Without knowing the water parameters it's hard to say if they are the cause or not.
Fin rot should start to clear up pretty fast, but if it looks like it's only getting worse then I'd probably medicate it.

Have you cycled the tank and check the water parameters occasionally?
1,5gal is tiny, like I wouldn't keep a betta in tiny... Chances actually are you may not even find a filter that fits such a small tank(or at least personally I've never seen one). Cleaning the who tank every two three weeks is not good, the water gets really dirty in between and then if you really clean the whole thing(do 100% water change) it will throw the water parameters really off the usual everytime and that's not very ideal situation. With tank that small you'd probably need to do a water changes 2-3 times a week, possibly daily.
The purpose of a filter is first of all clean the water, move it around to creat current and thus also help oxygen dissolve into water little better, it also creates a surface for the good bacteria to grow on and thus helps keeping the tank cycle stable. I would personally never have a tank without filter, but it's not impossible to have one without.
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...
