As for the ten tetra - I have a ten gallon tank and I would like a dwarf gourami as well. Would they all be okay in there? I don't want to over do the bioload. Thanks xx
Unfortunately I have no personal knowlegde of how that product, as it's not a brand that's sold around here.
3 more tetras make very little mess really, being as small as they are. I got 3 times bigger tank, with 30 tetras PLUS 13 corries and two otos. And that has been doing pretty good water quality vise. So I think you should be fine with 10 neons and a gourami. Just watch your feeding amounts, it's really common that people over feed their fish in the begining and that causes troubles with the water quality, rather than the fish amount itself. ^^

I doubt he'd eat them, since he's a dwarf and they probably won't fit in his mouth, but I suppose it could be a possibility. Very rare though.
I've seen a betta eat small/juvenile neon tetras and I don't think dwarf gouramis aren't that different in size compaired to bettas. So I'd say if the store gets their neons as small as some of our local stores, the risk of them being eaten is there, if put together with a fish with habbits of eating smaller fish.

Some sort of schooling fish maybe then? But really depends on your betta and will he tolerate any other fish. And corries wouldn't fit a 10 gal btw, other than maybe the tiny/dwarf sized species.
With the feeder it depends... In theory I believe it should. But then there are things like are they all equally fast to get food, do they eat the same food, are they bottom/surface feeders(can you put tablets in the feeder for bottom feeders anyway?). If it's not very long holiday it's okay to not feed your fish and sometimes also better as then there will be less mess in the water.
