How old are they? A couple of worms seems like a lot for them if they are young, I give mine who is about 1 year old 2 worms a day and that's only because of how large she is now. When they are young a single worm a day will suffice(:

and I just grab the worm and hold it in the water until she notices it and comes to take it, but be careful of your fingers! They can have a tough bite haha. You can also use tweezers, and just dangle it so you're sure they notice it. I wouldn't expect them to eat for a day or so anyways so I am surprised she ate already!

Blood worms haha sorry not nightcrawlers.

They are about 3 inches, not sure on age.

I think I'm gonna get a feeding bowl for now since they are on frozen blood worms. Once they switch to nightcrawlers I'll work with them on eating off a stick.

Just dropping in.
I used to be on one of the previous fish lovers forum, I was young and uneducated, had a male betta and balloon mollies.
I don't have any fish now, but since I know more (still a lot to learn and know pretty much nothing about ponds), I would love to get a tank.

Anyways, the hotel/apartments I am currently staying at has a koi and goldfish pond. The owner recently got a bucket of guppies and another type of fish that I don't don't know the name of, some are adults and the rest are fry. They are unsure of how to have the fish in the pond without the koi and goldfish potentially eating them. The goldfish had fairly recently had fry but they are now at the age/size that them being lunch isn't as likely. But guppies don't get big, and I'm not sure about the other fish.
The fish are currently in a large bucket in the pond for temperature change, and water is slowly being added.

I should also add that the pond is pretty bare, the owner has been wanting to add plants, but hasn't been able to find any that don't require dirt as it made a complete mess in the pond. There's such plants right?
It's also not my pond, so I can only suggest things (the owner is quite open to suggestions).

The guppies will be eaten if they're put in the pond. Goldfish and definitely koi get big enough to snack on guppies. Depending on the temperature where you are it could also be too cold for them, guppies tend to do better with warmer water than goldfish need.
You cannot eat love, nor buy a horse with it, nor warm your halls on a cold night

That's why we're trying to figure out what to do with them. Section off a part of the pond or supply more covering/places to hide.
I thought the water temperature might be a problem, but they came from a pond (with goldfish) that's unheated and all fish were doing fine apparently, I wasn't there though.

Considering I've fed cull guppies to goldfish, they will most definitely eat them. You're going to need a LOT of plants to stop them. I recommend you section of a small area of the pond until the plants grow in so it's thickly and densly filled with plants.

ohhh okay that makes more sense :P

I fed bloodworms and they are just an absolute mess. Have you tried using a turkey baster to drop and pick up any extras in the bowl you feed in? That worked for me really well before she moved up to night crawlers(:
