One of my red wag platies has clear find with almost no color. He's also more skittish than the other platies. Is there something wrong with him or are clear fins normal sometimes? His mouth is also white/clear and not black.

Thanks!

Does anyone know much about platies? I just want to make sure he's okay ^-^

How dark are his scales? A picture would help. That sort of clearness is probably okay, but it's colour dependant.

My koi fish was perfectly fine this past week and yesterday morning, but when I got back from highschool, she was at the bottom of the tank, laying on her side, and she could only breathe. She couldn't move any other part of her body, it was as if she was paralyzed. I covered the tank with a towel so I couldn't see her suffer. I looked into the tank this morning and she had passed away. I have no idea what happened, she was perfectly fine and I had her for almost one year. What could have happened to her?

How big was the tank, did you have a filter, how often did you change the water?
Koi are huge fish that really need to live in a pond. Unless your tank is huge she likely died from something related to poor water quality :c
You cannot eat love, nor buy a horse with it, nor warm your halls on a cold night

This is him compared to one of the females in the tank.

It was a 20 gallon tank, (I know, not big enough...) I had a high quality filter that is meant for a fifty gallon tank, and I did a water change yesterday. I'm planning on getting a 40 gallon tank sooner or later.

Koi grow over two feet long. Even a 40 gallon is no where near large enough. They need thousands of gallons.

Hello everyone!
My grandparents contacted me, wondering what they can stock their 55 gallon with? It's tropical, heated and filtered. I'm pretty sure they just have a pleco and algae eater. Thanks!

I love this fish xD
He has blue lipstick and a little black toupee...
He hides in his plant and comes rushing out when people look at him.
He snuggles with his moss ball.
He sits in the gaps in his bridge too... (that scared my roommate the other day. She thought he was stuck)

My mom sent me a 'Wasabi Care Package' with stuff from my betta who just died at home... So now he has more food than he could ever possibly eat.

He has a new tiny tear in one of his tail fins... but it seems to be healing already.

We are a little worried about his heater. It seems to be maintaining 84 degrees instead of 80 like it should be >.> Does anyone know any good heaters for small tanks (2.5 gallons) that are either reliable, or have some sort of adjustment function?
