Annoying Things People Do To/With Your Pet(s)

My cat Henry gets very protective of my other cats, mostly because he behaved like he was their father when they were kittens. When my friend comes over and goes over to pet one of my cats Topper (he's really friendly and loves attention), Henry will make sure she doesn't hurt him. But sometimes, he'll hiss or growl if she gets too close or touches his face. She'll always say 'control your cat', but I feel like it's good that she knows to not be too rough with my cats or he'll hiss at her.

Also, my rat Winston used to be very overweight, so my vet considered taking him outside sometimes. I would walk around the city with him on my shoulder, and people thought it was pretty cool. There were the people who would ask if they could pet him (and I usually said yes, as he wasn't sick and really friendly), and the people who would just grab him and pet him. A kid who was about ten grabbed him off my shoulder and held him wrong, squeezing him and grabbing his tail (which he really hates). Winston gave him a few nips, but nothing too bad. He wasn't hurt, and the kid's mother told him to give me my rat back after about five seconds.

One last little rant - I absolutely hate people who want to hurt animals. There were these kids who went to my school and found some baby mice outside. They started to step on them, and ended up killing most of them and the mother. I managed to stop them and take the surviving six babies home with me to feed them for a few days before putting them in my backyard.

Okay, so the deer outside my house aren't mine in anyway but my neighbors hate it when I feed them and they let out their noisy dog to bark and scare them away. Really?! I am a good 20 meters from those things and you let out your dog?! Gah! I am trying to feed the poor starving creatures and I'm pretty darn sure you don't want starved frozen deer corpses behind you house!

(Information on the deer; Herd of eight hanging around in a 10 mile radius of limited forests (the three acres behind my house being the biggest in the area )and just a bunch of neighborhoods and streets and busy roads. I just give them two apples cut into 16 slices and about ten cups of sunflower seed every two to three days just to keep them going with occasional deer mix for nutrients. They are sorta spoiled about it but I make sure to not be around when it comes to feeding and putting it in different places so they don't become totally reliable.)

i have three dogs and five cats, one of them is a pug named pugsley.
there's this kid who comes to my house sometimes to play with my younger brother. he absolutely loves pugsley! but he pets him when his hands are all dirty then i half to clean him. .-.
gee...now that i look at the other posts, this really isn't very annoying anymore.

At school, in class, if my pet tarantula gets brought up, EVERYONE scatters away from me and sits on the other side of the room.
And there's always people who ask if I bring her to school or if I ever will, and often one'll be like "OMG (my name) BROUGHT A TARANTULA TO SCHOOL!!!" cue everyone avoiding me for the rest of the class, ugh. As if I'd bring my 50$ spider who's fragile as a flower to a building filled with 2,000 rowdy teenagers.

My old friend (I don't hang with her anymore) had this very old cat called Lilly. She was about 16-ish, and my friend used to pick her up by the hips and swing her around, and she meowed and meowed for her to stop, as she was very fragile. Lilly also had something wrong with her kidney or something, not sure, and it was painful for her. I used to call her over, and pick her up gently. But my friend had to come over and hog her own cat and swing her around. It was horrible.

Also, do any of you guys watch "My Cat from Hell"? It's a show about a guy called Jackson Galaxy, and he's kind of like "The Cat Whisperer"
Anyway, I find people on that show who need help with their cats SO frustrating! They have no idea how to even handle a cat! It makes me mad.

I don't have any horror stories. But I used to have rats and it irritated me no end when people freaked out about it. No they don't have plague. No they are not more likely to bite than a hamster. Stop squealing and pick it up.

I hate it when ppl ask if my budgies "can talk". Yeah they can talk. But YOU dont understand it. Dude it gets annoying -.-then they say something along the lines: "They would talk if you would keep them seperately." These ppl dont know anything -.- Birds only "talk" because they feel lonely. They have noone else to talk to, so they say words in the language of humans to get their attention... its sad.

I'm a rat owner and it makes me incredibly mad and upset if people find them gross.

Seriously?
No they don't bite. No they are completely healthy and do not carry illnesses with them. No they aren't dirty animals, they clean themselves 24/7.

I sometimes post some photos of my rats on Twitter. And there are always a few followers of mine who decide to comment on them with words as "ew", "gross", ect. That's... just really rude alright.

Rats are wonderful creatures.
All the things people say about them is just sad. ;_;

My friend. When she comes over, she holds my kitty by his armpits (if cats had armpits) and it makes him very unhappy.

She also tells me to do bad things to my bun! Like to see if him and the cat can be "friends". CATS EAT BUNNIES.
And dripping water on his nose to make him sneeze because it's cute? That will give him pnuemonia.
Also I'm kind of scared for her bunny. Her other bunny died, and she treats MY bun so badly I'm scared for hers. Like, really, friend?
