Barny looks so happy about wearing the cone of shame.

Goldy's appointment didn't
go well at all. Our vet thinks
Goldy either has issues with
her Thyroid, or her kidneys
or liver are failing. I'm exhausted,
and I just want Goldy to be
comfortable... Everything else
about her is completely normal.
Her energy, appetite, bodily
functions, everything except for
her fur falling out, and apparently
she's slightly anemic as well.
;A; I'm not ready to go through this.

Sorry for what you're going through. Personally I don't think anyone is ever ready to go through that.

Well I'll likely be bruised tomorrow! I was holding Chew up in a half hug type thing I'm mid air (we do it all the time, he loves it, his nub goes a mile a minute) and I was talking to my stepdad. I wasn't thinking and said 'Chewie has to-' and of course Chew heard his name and turned his big head to look at me. Hit me right on the back of my cheek bone. Totally my fault, but dang it hurts! (And yes he did get a kiss where he hit me before I let him down and went to check out my own face. He seemed perfectly fine, but my cheek hurts like crazy. I'll live though lol)

I will be getting a full breed Siberian Husky soon. He or She will cost a total of 800 bucks. @_@ But im doing a payment plan of 100 a month. Im more than likely going to pick a girl. I dont really like boy dogs because they get ...excited alot. I have o idea what ill name her though. I will most likely choose one with blue or grey eyes. I get the 7th pick of the litter though.

Ooo, what sort of titling and health testing do they do?

Being a responsible person, I decided to order some dna tests for Creed since genes don’t change as the boy grows. Doberman health testing includes dna tests as well as xrays and bloodwork, but the latter two he is still too young for.

Okay so, figuring out what to order for the dna tests… well… I know by parentage he’s negative for the dcm marker (which isn’t at all conclusive re: whether he’ll get dcm) and vwd. He’s a black dog of euro decent with no Z, so he should be either a number 1 or number 3 black- no dilution, no albino. Which leaves… the dm test, which is optional because well bred doberman very rarely if ever get dm.

Benefit of going to a good breeder I guess?

This was the post
"Puppies come with 60 days of PET HEALTH INSURANCE, a 3 month HEALTH GUARANTEE from any genetic illnesses, weekly PICTURES and UPDATES, so you can watch your puppy grow. They also come with their first TOY BOX which includes a whole puppy starter kit, including a BIRTH CERTIFICATE with their first paw print, the time and date they were born and their 4 week old picture, X-LARGE PUPPY PADS, first TOY, baby BLANKET, doggie HARNESS, first BAG OF PUPPY FOOD, and a RECORD OF SHOTS AND DEWORMING, they are also KEPT INDOORS the entire 6 weeks to prevent from parvo, distemper, fleas, ticks, and worms. They also COME POTTY trained, CRATE TRAINED, and on a SLEEPING AND EATING SCHEDULE before going home, and during their 1st 6 weeks they will be LEARNING THE SIT COMMAND. Not to mention mommy, daddy and puppies ARE ON VITAMINS to ensure optimal health. The parents hold a Champion Bloodline through AKC!"

Here are some pics from their last litter.

I paid $1,600 for my Sibe.
Granted, he was from an
awful BYB, but I'm not surprised
your pup costs that much.
Sibes are popular, but they
are such a handful. I don't think
I'll own one again xD Way
too much work!

Does the breeder you picked do
any competitions, health testing,
showing, participate in breed clubs?

Every single purebred dog has a champion somewhere in it's bloodline unless it's a totally pure working line with no outcrossing to show lines. Which I do believe is rare. Saying their dogs have a 'championship bloodline' isn't saying much of anything. I'd be far more impressed if the parents had championships themselves. Considering even two titled dogs can have pet-quality puppies.
