As long as you feel you can be 110% responsible then I don't see the point of altering. It is your choice though, but I would try to wait until 2ish. Unless a vet in your area will be an ovary sparing spay where they remove the uterus but leave the ovary's so the body is still exposed to the hormones without the chance of a pregnancy. I've heard they still go into heat, but not one nearly as bad as a fully intact

If she can still go into heat would it still attract male dogs/ make her want to search for a male dog?
Because that's the main reason why I would want to fix a female dog
Our neighbours female jumped their fence and escaped to find a male dog when she was in heat, she actually climbed out of a 8-10 foot high enclosure

Hah! I would totally give you guys some but I don't know how I'd explain to my uncle that there are a few dog lovers on the internet who'd like some as well!! Not to mention the price of shipping from Canada!

Thank you for the advice, though! I should be getting them soon, or when they butcher next.

I went to the farm for the weekend with Kora and my family, just to visit. She had soo much fun running in the fields! Prepare yourselves for the photo dump!

One of her more derpy moments, hehe!

And we can't forget this one...

She looks so elegant here ;v;

Frisbee champ!

I love this picture, you can see the roof of her spotty mouth!
previously luminescent., just decided to change it up a bit! ^.^if you get the reference, you're a fantastic human c:

I think someone missed me! I went out of town on Wednesday for my nieces first birthday party, and just got back yesterday. They have been so very snuggly since I got home! I love my brats, and Chewie even let me sleep in a bit today instead of waking me up super early. He even snuggled up to me while I was slowly waking up this morning.

To further prove the point, mainly because I had to take these from him today:

Image
This at one point was a knuckle the size of Creed's head. It is now two card-ish-sized pieces, which I took as they are now in the danger range of being swallowed and having him choke on it. He was still working on the small one which makes me think he could have gotten more out of it if he hadn't at some point chewed it in two. Since this is a treat-only thing, he took about a week of on/off chewing to power through it.

Image
I think I broke him... Still a little tired from yesterday, buddy?

Image
SOMEONE threw a HUGE tantrum because I didn't walk him today to let him rest from yesterday, and scattered all of his toys before sleeping. Sigh.

Benjis cuddle clone arrived today
I kinda dont know what to think about it lol
I can't help but laugh when I look at it.
It has a very fake feel to the fur and I think it needs some beads or something in it to give it abit more weight.

But other then that it is cute and does look like him
I love the fluffy feet and they even did his bare little pink belly and the colour of his under coat
But they did miss his white chin

OMG, that is awesome! :D It looks so life like. Did you let your dog meet his clone? What was his reaction?

O-okay. Sure. Let's go
with that, yeah?

I hate it when shelters
falsely identify breeds.
It gets the dog, and the
owners, in a lot of trouble
later on due to breed tendencies.
