My mom was reading the paper this morning and she called my down, said she wanted to tell me something.

Pipers breeders were in the paper about an article on animal abuse. It wasn't them though that did the abuse, they run a dairy farm and like 7 of their employees were abusing the cows (like beating them) and when pipers breeders found out they fired them all on the spot and did everything the SPCA told them to do.

They are good people, but it was weird seeing them in the newspaper under an animal abuse topic xD
Glad it wasn't when the puppies were there, who would have known what those sickos might have done to piper and her brothers and sisters.

Mind you I have never seen a Toy/mini Aussie before
Are they just Aussies crossed with a smaller breed? or are they actually their own breed?

I've seen Toy / miniAussies
before, and they don't look
anything like Bruno.
I'm not sure if they are a breed
or a cross breed. I'm assuming that
they are a breed of their own, but
don't quote me on that ;)

@Keriae

His hind leg set is strange. He can't
hold them any closer than they are
in the second stacked photo. They
are set very far apart. Not sure why.

A lot of dogs {Mine included} have a
scary bark, and no bite at all. Not
saying that the dog you encountered
wouldn't have attacked, but it's possible
he was just barking. *shrug* Not sure.

@Jazi

I'm so sorry, Jazi. I hope you find a place
soon!

Misty, Wolfgang, and Addie all have terrifying barks and no bite whatsoever lol.

Why do I even look at kijiji? It makes me mad, I know it's going to make me mad, but I look anyway....I was looking for a cat tree, and stumbled across this.....

Hi I know this is a little far fetched, even a bit risky; but I would really like to get my girlfriend a small pup (either a chihuahua, Pomerania, etc) for her birthday.
I would like to trade an equal amount of "green" - "Mary Jane" OR a brand new unlocked HTC ONE M8 for the price of the pup.
Please let me know if you are interested.
Thanks

Does anyone have experience
with owning a dog that has grass
allergies? Barnabas has major
allergies, and his toe get inflamed
every time he goes outside.

This is him today, after treating
his toes.

I know most dogs can sound scary but not actually be so, but I know a lot of people around here are irresponsible with their pets and frankly, I don't trust any of them. I am paranoid in those types of situations, so I immediately thought the worst. But truthfully, it was the fact that all the fences were open and he wasn't supervised that got to me the most, as once the dog saw we were a little bit away he left. If you can't supervise your dog, you shouldn't have one, in my opinion, especially near main roads.

Joe Kerr, I'm not an expert on dog conformation, so don't just go with me ^.^ I noticed the hind legs were quite far apart at the paws but it was really how far behind him the legs were set back in the first picture that made me think before I noticed his back in the second one. I can't help thinking his breeder can't have been that good if he's structral problems. He doesn't really look like that mini Aussie, either.

The mini aussie is very easty-westy in the back legs, and slightly easty-westy in the front legs. Maybe a bit cow-hocked.

Herding breeds drive from the back so they tend to have narrow-er chests and back legs that are set wider apart. It could be indicative of joint issues/displasia the way he's holding his legs under him or splaying them so far, I'd have his hips and knees x-rayed just in case.

Edit: His stifles look straight. His just.. whole back end assembly is really weird and 'off' looking.
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe

So, my grandfather took Addie to the vet to have her legs checked. According to the vet, there is nothing wrong with her hind legs. I'm sorry, but BULL CRAP. This dog, who is one year old, can barely even sit down right and you're telling me there's nothing wrong? They did say one of her front legs was injured from landing on it weird, but my grandparents couldn't remember what they said it was. She's on antibiotics for it.

Aw no, Jaz. :c That sucks. I know how much you had planned and gotten prepared for the move.

Did they have a radiograph done?
