@Reno Sinclair, he is so freaking cute x3

@Joe Kerr, Toy Aussies only get up to about 20 lbs at adult weight. Mini Aussies range from about 15-35 lbs at adult weight. Standard Aussies (males) range from 50-65 lbs. Not sure how much more he's gonna grow, but he will probably be somewhere between Mini and Standard size if he doesn't grow too much more.
But, he is absolutely adorable either way x3

He looks really strange to me
Mind you I have never seen a Toy/ mini Aussie before
Are they just Aussies crossed with a smaller breed? or are they actually their own breed?

@Joe Kerr: His top line looks sloped to me in the first picture (probably due to the set of his hind legs) and in the other stacked it looks a little humped? Maybe that's just his fur xD Other than that, he's still a pup, right? Either way, I'm sure he'll be a handsome dog once an adult ^.^

Gosh, my heart was in my mouth on that walk! We encountered a very defensive Pit Bull on our walk. Thankfully he didn't attack, but he sure had a scary bark! In the UK we have fences and walls and gates everywhere, but this dog was on his own. All the gates were open, and there was no one supervising him. We always go on the same route, out of the estate, up past the high school and swimming center, then across the road and along what's part of many of the local bus routes. This road is full of mostly flat blocks, so they each building shares a garden. Every single time the gates are open but I've never seen a dog on his own before yet. Thankfully he only ran out of the gate, saw we were quite a distance away, barked a couple of times and then left us alone. Rosie wanted to go meet him (like she does every dog) but Kuro was very mature about the whole thing and walked with me: so he pulled Rosie along too as they have a double lead xD

Then today, Loli actually walked up to Liz and sniffed her while she was standing. Then allowed Liz to pet her head. <3 Granted it was like 30 seconds after getting home from a walk so she was tired and hot but still.

I swear this is the quickest that Lolita has EVER been just okay with someone. It usually takes weeks of just being around them constantly before she's willing to allow them to even touch her or to stop barking at them when they're standing/moving and Loli only just met Liz on Thursday. I mean, she hasn't even seen Liz every single day.

I swear, if I'd known what I was doing back then, Loli would be a different dog. I still think she'd be fear aggressive but she'd be way better then she is now.

WOOHOO! I'm so happy for you both! That's fantastic!!

@Jazi, oh no! :( I will definitely be keeping the dog, as well as his owner, in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you don't mind, I passed it along to my prayer group too and explained the situation, so they'll be doing the same.

No update on the dog, but I'm no longer moving. I've lost my place to stay.

I thought Pit bulls were illegal over here? Are you sure he/she wasn't a staffy/staffy cross? There was a dog in our dogstrust that looked exactly like a pit bull, turns out he was a lurcher, sighthound x staffy of some sort.

Loli's harness had to be tightened a little bit again yesterday. I think it's fair to say she's progressed from being obese to just being overweight as I can feel her ribs without pushing into her fat too much. I think we're going to have to change her exercise schedule again though. We're taking very short walks right now because she gets too hot but she'll have excess energy later in the day. So I think we're going to do two walks a day. If she can handle it, of course. I'll try it out tomorrow as I decide to skip her walk today. (much to Loli's annoyance but the drama llama is camped out at my house right now  )

He might of been, but to be honest, I wasn't really looking at him: to busy trying to get Rosie away, silly dog xD She's way too friendly for her own good. All I really got from what he looked like was leggy and a bully look to him. What bothered me more was that the gates were open and he wasn't supervised, as anyone here could just take him.
Just because they're illegal doesn't mean people don't keep them, though.

Snail with a top hat -
Here you can own them through license and you have to take proportions which include visits from the police, RSPCA, etc...
Its a lot easier to get your hands on one than a lot of people think.
However at the drop of a hat they will be seized and put down if the owner does not register them for breaks a law they have to follow when owning one.
Unfortunately the majority that I have seen whilst living here in the UK are the folk who use them to guard drugs and abuse the power of the breed.

Took the dogs to the vets yesterday, Suki's lump was just a fatty lump and Caleb doesn't have an ear infection.
Glad that's all over with.
And I thought I'd share this to spread the word.
