The dog I watched was bred from there and she said they are nice and they are nice and have met the parents, and they are healthy and are well taken care of. I am going to go to a rescue over the weekend though.

Their dogs don't look healthy. They don't even really look like adult danes. They're put together very sloppily and that can cause a lot of problems for their life later on down the road. Especially when danes get old at what, 5? 6? And typically don't make to the double digits. You need more than to just look at the dogs and decide they're healthy.

Find a reputable breeder that health tests and titles their dogs in some venue, or find a rescue.

They breed dogs WAY to young. They breed over sized dogs. They do not health test. They do not title. Their dogs are all poorly put together. Temperment issues. They breed way to many litters. Theres way more faults with this breeder, but they are really really gross and I'm lazy.

I'm gonna go crazy, I need somebody's help.

We are friends with a couple who got kicked out of their house last week, and because me and my bf understand how housing situations can flip like theirs did, we told them they could stay here for a couple weeks until they figure something out.

Of course, the guy waited to tell us about his three year old pit bull until last minute. Whenever his owner leaves for work or to go anywhere, the dog barks and cries. He is trained terribly, and just walks around our apartment marking on the floor and the furniture or our clothes. He refuses to eat or go to the bathroom anywhere but the floor unless his daddy is home. We live in an apartment, and having the dog here is endangering us because we could get evicted if he keeps barking at literally every sound he hears from our neighbors.

I don't know what to do anymore. His daddy is an idiot and absolutely refuses to find a kennel or friend to watch him for the next couple weeks, he says he'll just move out and live in a tent with his dog before he leaves him.

I'm about ready to just tell him to take his dog and leave, but let his girlfriend and her 5 year old son stay.

I guess more than anything, I'd love some tips on getting the piss smell out of our carpet and furniture. I have a very sensitive nose and every time that lingering smell hits me I go into gagging fits because it literally smells like death. I'm at my wits end. I don't know how to get rid of this smell, I'll gift anyone who gives me good advice. Pm or reply here

I don't have the stamina to actually list everything wrong with the breeder... thus being lazy.

I mean, theres nothing WRONG with going to a good breeder, but bad breeders are ad dime a dozen and not someone to give your money to.

@Bassnecter: A natural enzyme cleaner like Natures Miracle. White vinegar also works pretty well.

That's tough.. I would just tell him it's bothering you. Maybe he can bring him to the park or a piece of grass outside.. If you have a deck he can try and train him to pee out there, also there is this indoor grass dog pee pad thing. he may be interested in that. About the barking.. He just needs to train him. reward him when hes quiet. hope this helped, here are some links.
