@running
Maybe ring bucket? (simular to ring toss). On one end of a ring (or anywhere) there is either a helper or a tall barrel with rings (or just basically anything you can throw into something else) and at the other end there is a bucket. You have to grab the throwaway object, run to the bucket, circle the bucket and throw the object into the bucket. Repeat until some runs out of throwaway objects and that person wins! Or you could always do a good ol' fashioned race :3

OH

Or maybe (if you are allowed to do this) have the kids drop their stirrups and put a dollar bill (or an bill) under their leg and have them trot around. The last person to have their bill under their leg wins all the money!

@running
I used to play around the world. You race to see who can turn a circle in the saddle the fastest.
Halt the horse, then swing your leg around so both are on one side, then again so you're backwards, and back around so you're facing the right way.
Make sure you play this with steady horses though lol. :)

.
@ goldwolf1029:
could you maybe send a pic to me? maybe i can see something

did your vet took DNA samples for testing and a mold of the bite to send for testing to a laboratory? and wildlife pros in your area??...your vet knows where to send test samples and Pictures!

They then mostlikely can tell you what did attack....it also could have been a dog...or barbed wire and a dog?! leg, flank and rear are typical dog...but it could be also large cat or human...or such...you will see when you send it in, and send also the Pictures of the wounds where they are and pics of the area you life the People can tell you even more than with the dann tests and bite mold. hope you find out what it was.

and may i ask what fence you have around the pasture? electric wire or something else? open fenced or closed?

@
the same goes for Lady_Lycana
the user whoes foal was attacked...but you did say the guys who looked at it did say it was not killed by the animal but only eaten some of it..so it must have been already dead from what it sound to me ....did your vet did a autopsy?
what was the cause ? maybe some internal failure, or such...some foal can look well but still die shortly after birth and when over night they can be attacked and eaten of it in wilder areas....
but what ever it was im sorry for all this, thats always must be very hard, hope the mare is still ok !?
do you get a new chance with the stallion for an other breeding? sometimes breeder lower the prize a Little...when the foal was not Born healthy and died?

@ Horse games:

tag is fun :D you can make so much with this simple game...use obstacle, in and outside, Little banner you have to get or a ball or such....or water gun with different natural Colors and two or more Teams( only outside with enough space and buckets with colored water and obstacles and trees and such to hide^^)...jumping over small obstacle that are put up one step every other round or such....

@ ~SmallDoberman~<3
don't know if I'm allowed to post on here but anyways..

today was the day of training... my miniature horse (Lavender, a brown horse with white spots) was watching me train my dog, I guess she got a bit jealous and began to run around in circles like my dog was, then I just gave her a carrot for effort

sure you can write about what you do with your horse and also such funny thinks that your horse does when you wwork with your dog...sounds like an intelligent Little Thing maybe work both together^^

@ Soul of winter dont know enough about donkey, but maybe one of the donkey owner here can help, maybe write them^^
but Keep them away from to much grass, sand Paddock is also not bad, Keep them dry-out of rain, a good shelter on the pasture and Paddock helps with this, good hay , Mineral and salt for donkey only.....(they cant use cattle Mineral and salt, horse Minerals and salt is also not so good)
tain them soon from the ground, tricks and more ,and all handling you Need to do....but not to much, maybe Keep them together with an older animal to teach them.
good luck hope you send Pictures, and write about them!!! :D
Please klick them or they will die°°!!!

It's been a forever lasting battle to get the photos of me at the horse comp I recently went to. I found them but it turns out our friend that took the photos took them professionally with her partner. They took photos of a majority of random riders at the comp and whoever wants the photo of them has to pay for them. So I gotta wait until we buy the photos first. Ah well, didn't look that good anyway, I was leaning forward too much and I had the worst 'concentration face' and they missed my cross country. One irrelevant question: how do you upload your photos (from your camera roll) onto cs? I'm using my iPad and I used to use tinypic but it stopped working. I tried to use something else but it didn't work. now you can't see Midnight

@bulldogx21

Try doing ground work with Jack, maybe you need to show him who is boss and make a better bond with him, is Jack a stallion or gelding? if he is a stallion, then geld him, how long has she had Jack? Does Jack have any health issues or vast injuries?

@my personal life

We went all the way to NH yesterday to get a new miniature horse mare, she can't go with the other mini's because she is in quarenty for a few weeks to a month, to make sure she dosnt have anything that can get the others sick.

And the 2 yearling mini donkeys I was gonna rescue from the TX kill pen, well they got rescued before I could rescue then :/

But here is a picture of Flicka:

And this is another miniature horse we will be getting in NH when she is bred, her name is Tiz Mystical Spotted Princess // Misty, she will be my horse and we even brought her a royal purple halter with a name plate that will say 'Misty' on it and we also brought a neon pink lead rope haha

Jack is a gelding. He is a really kind horse, but if he's feeling good some day he'll just buck and take off. He's unpredictable. In the past he was neglected, but we've had him for five years now.

Tý fooling around in round pen first.

We put him in the round pen first to see if he'd respect the fences(I knew he would, but the person who I was lunging with thought it was best to do that first).

I got surprisingly few pictures taken while lunging him, blaming it on the fact I needed to make him move unlike last time when I could just stand and take pictures(and I think the person who lunged him last time did much better job at lunging than we did this time). : P Good news he now has little more 'bounce'/springs to his trot, but on other hand I think the strides aren't that long/airy anymore. He also showed only very little lateral movements, so that was slight shame. In the end when he started to get bit more tired he did switch to pace once, so that was nice, and then occasionally when doing transitions he showed hints of tolt. So over all I think his trot and gallop might be enough, but on the same time I liked better the way he moved last year. Though I'm happy with the way he carries himself and the way he generally moves. It's just that I'm not 100% sure the moves are enough for good evaluation as a 3 year old. If he shows tolt and pace, then he doesn't have to move perfect, but if not...
Conformation vise, he's biggest flaw is his neck. It's short. It doesn't look too bad when he just stands nice and tall, but when he moves he pulls it real short and it's really obvious and doesn't match the rest of his body(really, block out neck+head from the pic and you'll see what I mean). His head is also kinda small, but is really wide from the side view around the nose. Aaand his buddies have been 'nice' and chewed off some of his mane shorter. XP
So I'm still pondering about the breeding show. Just checked the entry list and there are some interesting and quite likely very nice looking youngsters coming, so I don't think we'd be competing for the best young horse title this year by long shot. >_< Unless of course most pull out from the show, like last year in 2 year old class. The timing of the show also sucks and all the trailering hassle just doesn't appeal to me so much at the moment(the person I rented the trailer from last time no longer has that 1,5 horse trailer)
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...
