@Luzien: Ouchie, bet you got nasty bruises from that fall. Lucky though nothing worse. I don't know how horses are around there, but here chilly air tends to get the ponies little more hyper up than usual. So might have been combination of many things, though those kind of birds are simply evil. Heta tends to spook them a little, but then take some big forest work machine and she kinda just looks at it weirdly for moment then walks by.

That's the thing, she hides the fattyness now very well. ;D She doesn't have that huge belly, but the weight is divided everywhere else. I actually look at her and go like 'Oh, she's not that fat anymore', then I poke her sides and can't find the ribs unless I reeeally push and move my fingers to find the bone ridges. Like I've even had to adjust the belly straps on her rugs to almost max in some case. : P On sort of more positive side, as she has put on weight some of it has gone to her back.
That rug is actually a separate neck tube/piece I made and then the rug itself. ^^ Though the neck tube would need little remodeling as it will not stay put if I leave it on Heta in the paddock, even if the edge is under the rug. : P
No new pics of Tý. :c Last saw him in January, but might go see him either in March or April, seeing that the breeding show entries are likely to open up by then.
Shoulder's pretty good.

Lately it's been hurting mildly if I do some sort of twisting movement with it, or something like that, but it's not bad at all and only momentary. But other than that it's tolerating riding pretty well and few times I've even ridden 2 days in row without it starting to bug me too much, so it's getting there. I haven't seen a physio therapist since January, though I probably should go see one as the shoulder has started to hurt those random times...
Yay!

I haven't received any messages so far other than copy of my form. :\ I keep wondering if I remembered wrong that they were supposed to send out more info in February... Probably will have to send them a message myself and ask little more detail of when would they like the volunteers to arrive, as I've yet to book flights because I'm unsure if it's okay to arrive later in the afternoon and what time I can leave on the last day. ^^' (also not booking flights still kinda gives me the chance to pull back...)
I haven't looked around for place to stay too much to be honest. We did quick check with mom while this whole thing was still just a thought, but there weren't too many available(or were multiple person cottages, or just too expensive really) and most were so far I'd need to rent a car. And renting a car is bit expensive(buss/train ride to the grounds from airport ~10e, renting a car for the time ~250-300e) and as mom is pretty much paying for the trip I'd rather keep the costs at minimum. >_<
I also saw how many volunteers had signed up from each country, ours has lousy 7 people coming and I don't probably know any of them(nor have they announced themselves in facebook when I asked around on the local Icelandic horse group). So I don't think I'm getting to share with any of those. Though there was little talk at the stable that few might come to watch, but I'm not getting my hopes too high... By the way in lead with the volunteer numbers was Denmark and Germany with 160 people each. XD
