@Rainbowhorse77: Eeeeh, well that's odd. ^^; Like I know one trail stable up north, where there's ton of snow all winter, and they always has their horses barefoot during winter as that way they don't have to worry about snow packing on the hooves or horses loosing shoes in the snow. And most barefoot people I've seen list pros of barefoot horse nearly always list the no snow packing as one. I guess it depends on the hoof shape and type of snow then...

this happens when the hoof are not cut well enough and smooth for barefoot horses and are to deep ...on the pic it looks like a broken of part and some uneven part at the end...

you could use horse boots, but this too needs well taken care of hoof and barefoot farrier who knows what they do^^

So you guys know awhile back I was asking about trailers and someone wanted to know about it if we got one well today we finally found one that was in out price range and pretty good. It's a avenger 1999 3 horse/stock trailer... It need some fixing up like new tires, brakes, and the blinker lights are opposite of what the cars are( so you turn on the right blinker it turns on the left blinker instead).... it's kinda funny lol

ask for the rules around the barn, when you dont know how to do something ask, when you dont understand something ask...questions are always good and Show that you want to learn, when you dont have something to do and are not tirred from to hard work from beovor look if you can do something and when you give water or clean a horse ,and see someone work ask if you can help-
do you got a contract ? then try to follow it, dont work way to many more h then asked in it some can be alright but dont let them use you to do the work...,
it is also good when you have free time to watch other ride or work with there horses or to watch horse on the pasture.
when you are not sure abou something or fearful, then dont let someone push you into it, go slow as you Need,
.... when you groomed a horse or did ride clean up after your horse

You could already make contacts to a riding stable during a vacation.
Many of them seek work for accommodation and food.
This is a great way to get acquainted with a stable.

Look around for "work and travel" requests.

Thank you both! I have to make the contract myself so I haven't signed it but I am mostly looking for volunteer hours for future Vet school experience (they require something like 400 hours) so the more hours the better. I will log all of them though.
