As you know, I said i'd been wanting a hamster but that may change to frogs since I don't know how much time i'd have to spend time socializing with a hamster.
I have a lot of time now, but once I get a job I might not have as much time, plus, sometimes I spend 3+ days at my boyfriends house and my mum or aunt has to take care of my animals while i'm gone.
What do you guys think? Is that a bad situation for a hamster or would it not matter?

Hampsters generally are a type of rodent who like to be alone. If you "tame" your hampster they'll be more friendly sure but they're not attention seekers like most most rodents. They definitely need to be held every so often but your guy\gall should be fine as long as every day you or your aunt\mom hold him for a little while each day.

They always want to come out and definitely love the attention.
