I think i've decided that i'll go with the rat cage, and if the bars aren't small enough then i'll maybe get my boyfriend to make a bin cage for me, he's much more handy at things than I am and I'm sure he would enjoy a little project to do.

@ Cat- Thanks Yep, both are dumbo. Oliver is Siamese seal point. I LOVE hairless, but dont have too many interested in them, so I dont have many breedings for hairless.

How do you guys normally find breeders in your area? I'm looking for a Syrian breeder, but can't find one for the life of me. Thanks in advance!

I did that with my rat cage when they were little and it was hell. I got cut so many times, accidentally stabbed myself, and overall it was harder to clean the cage and stuff. Not doing that again. :c

I just recently got two gerbils! One is a light grey with red eyes and one is brown with flecks of black and black eyes as well. I love them so much, i got them a 10 or 20 gallon tank with a wire high rise.. They are both somewhere around 6 month. The grey one is Skittles and the brown one is Stumpy. The only problem i have is the WATER BOTTLE KEEPS DRIPPING.. I got stumpy today, skittles yesterday. I introduced them, and everything was ok, no fighting. But now they are constantly slamming one another against the sides of the cage, bedding flying everywhere.. I honestly dont know what to do, but i know skittles is being dominant. Any advice?

Did you make sure they are the same sex? Did they come from the same store?
