    He has two massive golf-ball sized lumps on his hips which are making it very difficult for him to walk, and his eye issues have flared up again, this time on both eyes. If he doesn't pass away naturally within the next few days I'm going to try and get him pts as it's just not fair to let him go on like this. I've been having extra cuddles with him and giving him lots and lots of treats, he had his last little adventure around my room last night and now I'm just going to let him rest. Whenever I take him out of his cage he sits on my lap and curls up against my arm, he just doesn't have the energy to do anything else any more and it's really hard to watch him so withered and ill.

    I'm gonna miss my little guy, I've grown so darn attached to him over the past four years and it's going to be really weird without him.
    I just hope he passes on peacefully, I don't want him to go through the same thing as Silver did. I took some videos of him last night on his run that I'm going to put together today.

A surgery won't work? :c I am very sorry to hear that. Letting a beloved pet go is one of the hardest things in life </3 :c

    I don't want to put him through the struggle and stress of surgery when he's already so old and it would be selfish of me to keep him alive any longer. Even if he didn't have the lumps his time to go would be soon anyway, 4 years is a grand old age for a hamster. It is really tough, I'm going to miss him but at least he's had a nice life and I've been lucky enough to have had him for so long.

    Thank you. <3

@wombat

Oh no, Im so sorry :( Wishing you and Momo the best <3

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sooooo im getting rats! My mum finally said yes! There hopefully coming in october :D
I just went to pets at home today, and my mum fell inlove with a lovley little girl <3
Also I have a question, someone told me that picking the corn out of the mix will mess up the GA and I have to keep it in, but I dont want to risk my rats getting ill from it. Is it true that you cant pick it out? Thanks
( I will feed pelets and veggies along-side the musli mix )
Also are Whimzee dog treats safe for rats? I think I have seen someone use one but im not sure
Untill further notice I wont be online at all for a while, im sorry
Ok, we went to walmart and they had food and bedding. SO I just finished putting it all in and Toki seems to like it shes exploring as if shes never been in the cage before XD While I was putting it in she explored her play house again. She seemed happy. I took out all the fluff since one of you said it was bad :) I might throw the rest of the unused stuff away or I might use it for something else IDK Anyway I read the ingredients on the food and I didn't see anything that was on the list of bad stuff, but theres a lot of weird things ive never heard of, but that's not saying much :l But if I didn't mention I changed out her food for the new fresh stuff. And I saw her drink some water so I am very relieved! Hmm oh also, she isn't in the aquarium yet because they didn't have the tops or any toys or wheels at walmart. They had toys, but it was like 4 little sticks for 3 bucks! We are going to petco sometime to get some fish so I will probably get the stuff them. But IDK when that will be. Maybe next next weekend?? Anyway this is a long post so im done for this one XD
Unfortunately, I've found myself in the possession of an injured wild mouse. My house doesn't have a mouse problem, but sometimes a variety of critters are able to enter the house through a crawl space under a portion of our "garden room". However, my cats usually catch and kill them before I'm able to find them. Yesterday however, I hear the squeaking and managed to pry a mouse from my cat's mouth before she could kill it, but it appeared to have still been bitten. Knowing that the bacteria in a cat's mouth can cause a fatal infection to the mouse, I've been giving her antibiotics, but I fear that it's too late. The vet that I take my animals to will not see wild animals, and the wildlife rehab center nearby will not treat mice. So, I'm on my own. Wish me luck, I guess. :c
Thank you.
I don't own a camera, unfortunately, but I can try to take a picture of her tomorrow if I can borrow a family member's camera, and if the mouse is still alive. She's a cutie, but not doing very well at the moment.
