Have fun with that, Middy! xD

I am so excited about the 90% possibility of getting Desmond for my birthday I'm already thinking of how to decorate his living area. I'm guessing carving out shapes in the paper towel/tp tubes are okay, or no? I just really wanna make sure

Go to the vets. We can't give medical advice.

Picked up the new girls today! It was certainly a adventure trying to keep them in their travel cage while trying not to let our puppy loose in the car at the same time lol. I haven't bothered them too much, im giving them a bit to settle in and calm down before I start bringing them out more than once or twice a day. Once they are calmer, they will start getting daily tv watching time like Storm and Rogue do. Decided to go with Agents of SHIELD for their name theme. So say hello to Sif (who I am counting since she did show up in season 2 lol), Skye and Bobbi! Originally Skye and Bobbi had their code names as well (Quake and Mockingbird, but I think I'm gonna save those names for future rats instead of having them be the girls nicknames lol)

So far Bobbi and Skye are a bit skittish, but Sif is already a sweetheart. I think once the other two settle in, they will calm down and we can start bonding. Sif is already proving to be a bit naughty! I've already had to cut my nails off so that she stops chewing on them lol. (Then again I needed to do that anyways since Storm also nibbles on long nails!)

I can't wait to spend more time with them tomorrow. I'll have to try to get some better pictures tomorrow! Excuse the pee on Bobbi's back, apparently one of the others was too lazy to get out of the pile before going potty lol

I was wondering, can Guinea pigs lose their voices?

I still have Brazil, I'm too attached to give her away. So she is going to be a lone mouse, I've been spending tons of attention to her.
Today I was home alone so I let her explore the kitchen.

How old do you think she is? shes about 4 inches long without the tail. I just rescued her from an abusive past owner and I am just trying to help her live until I can get her a home. She's very lethargic and underweight and when we went to the vet they just said she was very underweight and to give her protein and sugar water. Do any of you have any tips on how to help a rat gain weight? Specifically a young rat?

I feel bad - my mouse has a small cage and I know it, but we can't get one until September, and by then he will be 10 months old (very old for a mouse), so I'm worried that he'll just want the comfort of the cage he's accustomed to. I feel really bad that I gave him a bad life and that he's depressed because of lack of entertainment (seriously, he has a chew toy, a hide out, a wheel, and a paper towel tube). He's too jumpy-runny to put in a playpen, but he goes in my hand and takes pumpkin seeds from me... I love him so much and I don't want to lose him.

I know they're technically mustelids and not rodents, but would ferret talk be welcome here?
