Quick q - has anyone ever experienced this? One of the girls in my litter has slowed down growth wise vs. her siblings. Most of her siblings are 85g-90g, most being 85g. She's only 76g. But she was bigger as a new pup.

She is healthy otherwise and friendly. Just wondering if anyone has ever seen this? I'm keeping a close eye and I'm going to offer her food away from her siblings to see if it helps.

This just recently happened to me with my one guinea pig litter. There were 3 sows, 2 weighing 115g and the other weighing 127g. But as they got older the largest one was surpassed by her sisters. She's fine now and so are her sisters. I don't know why it happens though.

Where can I buy a single/double critter nation?

I'd prefer a double, but I might settle for a single (and just add to it later).
And, is 1/2 in. bar spacing okay for baby rats (like 5-6 wks)? I don't plan on getting anymore while I have my boys, but I want to plan ahead.

I get mine on ferret.com, they have discounts all the time.

I got a fairly small cage when I got my mice, knowing that it was big enough for 5 and I only had 2, I figured it would stop me buying a second (bigger) cage... Wrong, last night I caved haha oops! Mice will be happy

Kahlua and Harmony are going to the vet Friday. Going to see what we can do about Kahlua's eye stye. And they have to confirm that Harmony's lump is a tumor and if it is, do a presurgical exam and set up to get it removed. Plus, to decide if we are going to spay her.

Kovu: 1 lb 1 oz
Kahlua: 13 1/4 oz
Harmony: 12 3/4 oz
Treble: 1 lb 3 3/8 oz
Chula: 1 lb
Fray: 1 lb 3 3/8 oz
Indie: 1 lb 8 3/8 oz
Dusky: 14 5/8 oz
Rufus: 10 1/2 oz

So, Mojo weighs more than Kovu now. Even though they're brothers, Mojo is bigger than Wes, even though Wes was bigger when they were kits. Dusky is a month older than them, yet he's smaller than them and smaller than Chula, who's a female.

Ronan and Maximus are two of the top contenders, though I'm still unsure. I have emotional attachments to so many of the names, makes it ten times more difficult XD
