Haha yep! When I started too breed guinea pigs, I was taught so much about the actual names of colors and the genetics that give us those colors. Thank god the breeders that taught me were patient. I was no easy teachA good TSW has clearly defined patches, but most TSW you will see at petstores have their colors brindled together (ex. Red streaked in a black patch) and thats what makes them look calico, so it's an easy mistake. Just like when people call creams blondes. Ugh..... Gotta love it

I need to read up on colors of other rodents! I am pretty on point with rats and know the gist of gerbils and mice.
