    Are you going to reserve one? c:
    If not I don't see the point of picking one out until later, it'll be gone by then.

So little Miracle (baby gerbil) is doing well. He/She looks very healthy, so that's a good sign. I can't wait till Saturday cause`that's when I'll be able to hold him/her for the first time! Yay :3

Ive had a few litters of guinea pigs born, but Im just not as excited about them as I was with rat litters.
So I probly wont be breeding them again. Just keeping the showable adults for showing.

Quick question for those who own mice;

Do they require sand baths? And do they benefit mice in any way?

Thank you in advance!

alrighty, thank you all for the responses (rat bite person here). he hasn't tried it again, i think he got the message that i didn't like it. i've been sticking my hand in there and letting him sniff and lick, but if he bites at all (yes, i allow love nibbles) i'll say no in my mean mommy voice and take my hand away. he seems to have gotten it down now. now off to the vet tomorrow because my oldest is having some itchys. the past few days have been very ratcentric.

The upstanding church-going law-abiding tax-paying citizen who votes democrat or republican is far more despicable and a bigger threat to humanity than the most
promiscuous lazy drug-snorting hippie. Why? Because the hippie is willing to let others be free and the voter is not. The damage done to society by bad habits and loose morality is nothing compared to the damage done to society by the self-righteous violence committed in the name of the State.

I get so excited about my guinea pig litters that everyone in my house gets annoyed with me when I talk about it! I have three pregnant ones currently. One, who I think will have 4. I can't wait! She due early December (the 5th to be exact!) and the other two aren't due until late january.

they are not necessarily 'required,' but some mice do enjoy it. :) if you get the chinchilla sand bath, make sure its SAND bath and not DUST bath, as the dust can be very bad for their respiratory system. you can also use play sand that you have cleaned out the proper way.
