Not leave them alone out back. Or a good length tether away from anything she can jump over/become tangled in. We use a 40ish ft tether for one of my dogs when she's outside. Still has access to the whole upper yard, but can't jump the fence.

Edit: Also last night Juniper got into the dog food and ate a good 3lbs worth. To put that into prospective thats 6 days worth of food for her. Guess who's NOT eating at all today? I'm going to make her fast and work her hard. :l

xD Well she's been getting under our fence. My mom's been putting like.... these metal rail things into them and wood trying to keep her in.
And if they run off, where's a good place to look?

Is she getting enough excersize and mental stimulation? I'd first start excersizing her religiously so she's actually tired and the appeal of running off isn't there. I'd also start working on a solid recall, coming back to you guys needs to be the absolute best thing ever, nothing better (I'd use something really good like roast chicken or hot dogs).

Ultimately, though, thats all bandaids. It comes down to either securing her in the back with a tether or not leaving her alone out back.

I have a query. Lately our Muffy (Old English Sheepdog) has developed a sore on her back. I suspect it's from pressure, and we're probably seeing a vet, but, how much does it affect the dog and how do you get rid of one? She doesn't whimper about it much, but that's because she's up on her paws most of the time I guess. ;-; Not seeking health help, just need some advice. We will go to a vet if it persists any longer.

Mom is thinking on getting either a pug or a Collie so far, my mom was raised living with Collies so she knows almost everything about them ^-^ I also love Collies~

Pugs and Collies are both very different dog breeds, what are you looking for in a dog?

Try, a leash, like one that you put the peg in the ground and tie the leash to her collar, It gives them SOME freedom, with you not having to go out, but you have to check the peg every once in a while. how big are your dogs, and how strong are they? :3

Pressure? Is she serverly underweight?

What's your grooming schedule? How often does she get brushed out and with what tools? Is she dried completely after a bath?

What are you feeding? Has anything changed in the environment recently? Seasonal, new cleaning supplies, etc?

Its probably a hot spot which is generally allergen related or could be from retained water/undercoat and the skin being unable to breath properly.

Okay, so I know it isn't Halloween anymore, but I found this devil costume and put it on Max! Sorry for the bad quality, I was on my I-Pad at the time.
