Who CARES where people got their dogs from? In the end, they are all just the same species, the same dog. No more breed discrimination, no more "my dog is better than yours because they were health tested and from a good breeder" no more "my dog is better than yours because they aren't aggressive" no more. No. More.

Yes you are non titled to your own opinion, I didn't say you weren't. You're allowed to think that show dogs are great or whatever it is that you're fighting us for, I'm not really sure.
And I'm not talking about you specifically, in fact you didn't even come to mind.

I'm not screaming or stomping my feet about anything, I'm actually quite calm about all of this.
The reason we kept "fighting" was just because the point we were trying to get across kept getting missed, so we tried (or at least I did) different ways of getting it across and still the point wasn't being put across.

I honestly don't care what you think that's fine. I don't care what I think. I don't care about what anybody thinks. This is just turning useless. Useless arguments that neither side is getting anything out of.

I never said you should shut up or not give your opinion. I said everyone should get to give an opinion. And I never said you didn't like Wolfgang, I don't even think there's a reason to not like him.
It just offends me for people to say Wolfgang's family are "horrible looking". Me and many people think Wolfgang is gorgeous and he is. Wolfgang is a BEAUTIFUL dog and i literally lookat him daily and wonder how i ended up dad is with a dog that amazingly stunning. Wolfgang's dad, Optimus, is gorgeous, yes he has a huge head, male American Akitas are supposed to and I think it's adorable. Wolfgang's half sister, Elektra, I can honestly say is the most amazingly gorgeous dog I have EVER seen in my entire life. Pictures don't even do this dog justice, she is STUNNING. Flag (Regalia's dog) is Wolf's grandfather and he is stunning and Wolfgang looks just like him.
I like how the Regalia line looks and I am proud that Wolfgang looks like them. The Regalia line is also known for their amazing temperaments. Which also shows in Wolf.

Nah, I was poking fun at Jazi sort of. Fifi is a very correct female besides a bit of pigeon chest and slight easty-westy back legs. Over all, though, her head piece and angulation is pretty stunning.

I agree, Wolfgang is gorgeous.
His face is very unique {I love dark faced dogs!}
and I never said his family was terrible looking.
I've never personally seen his family, or the
rest of the dogs Wolf's breeder has produced.
But I do see that Wolfgang is different from
other 'champion' Akitas. I think that's a
good thing! It's great to have a unique dog.
I honestly can say that Wolfgang is, in
my opinion, the most gorgeous Akita
I've seen. And he seems like such a sweety!

You can see, in my post above, that I
never claimed to be a dog expert. I
literally know nothing about dog shows,
confirmation, breeders, or anything. All
of my knowledge about dogs is focused on
dog Shelters, identifying mixed breeds,
training mutts so they can be adopted, etc.

Wolfgang looks different than show dogs because he couldn't be one. As much as his conformation might be correct (i honestly dont know if it is or not) or as pretty as he might be, he is a full coat which is a fault. He has slightly longer fur than the standard calls for. He could still be shown, but it is a fault. It makes him appear bulkier and fluffier. Full coats are common in American Akitas though.

@_@;; As you can see, not all champions are to breed standard.

I don't know anything about conformation on Akitas, which is why I focused on lack of full and proper health testing and titling, which I still don't have much (any) explanation for. If the others who DO know Akita conformation want to speak up, I'm sure they'll be fine with giving you a run-down of why they don't consider them to have decent conformation.

As for gorgeous...

My Skoll was gorgeous. Did he have conformation faults, probably. I never stacked him because we were too busy working on other things, and I didn't care as long as they didn't cause him pain. But to me he was gorgeous. You can have pretty dogs with poor breeding. You can have well mannered dogs with poor breeding. You can have dogs that are every bit everything you ever wanted out of a dog, with poor breeding. I know Skoll was everything I could have ever asked for, and his breeder was not great.

When things like "you only care about having the perfect health tested or whatever dog" or "you just think your dogs are better than everyone else's" are said, you're ignoring that the majority of people in this thread have rescue or byb dogs and love them very much, faults and all. We understand you love your dogs too, of course you do.

Yeah, some people don't know Akitas can come in full coats and long coats, therefore I often get people saying "I didn't know Akitas were fluffy?" when they meet him. This also led to him being mistaken for a Chow when he was smaller, even though he looks NOTHING like a Chow, simply because he was red with a fluffy coat role assumed that.
A lot of people do prefer full coats and long coats as companions because they are often sold for less because of the fault and because they look like big teddy bears and a lot of people find the longer coat cuter lol. I'm not a huge fan of long coats because i dont think i could keeo up with all that fur, but I love the full coats and the standard coats.
Akita coats (Atleast in American Akitas) can vary A LOT. They can go from extremely short to extremely long. In any length they can be extremely plush and soft or very bristley. They also come in tons of colors, so there is a huge variety, which I love.

I understand the problems with his breeder with the health testing and stuff. At least he has strict contracts so none of his dogs end up in shelters or are rehomed, etc. He has yet to produce a dog with health problems from the many ive seen and there's even a 2 year health guarantee plus lifetime support.

Wow, just going back and relooking at Optimus and Flag I realize how much Wolfgang looks like them O.O I remember meeting Optimus before Wolf was born and it's just crazy how I basically saw then what my dog would look like and had no idea.
