Can someone please tell me why dog is ALWAYS so hyper?!

She is a chocolate lab. I just don't understand. When ever I call her she rams into me like she didn't know I was there. Is my dog mental? ( XD )

how often do you walk it,do you give it a 'job' to do.

i have meet countless labs and the calm ones are the ones who have a job (be it guarding,helping people, or just playing with vinyard guests) and get walked alot, i'll take 2 i know, olly a lab who gets walked about 30 mins a night then made to stay at home most the rest of the time and then humpfrey a choco lab who has free run of a vinyard

olly is crazy, he jumps run and is down right hyper to the point where i can't take my dog near him for fear olly will hurt him

humfrey on the other hand is a clam well mannered dog who has never jumped up on me when i go to the vinyard to get the homemade jam they sell, he has even gone on a walk around the lake they have there with me

How old is she? Plus all the questions people above asked. I've heard chocolates tend to be the more psycho, crazy-hyper ones.


Boxers derp on purpose just to make you life. IJS.

a completely average and normal day with Clemmy. She'd gotten a 30-45 minute walk that morning (in which a 15 minute run around a park probs would've happened) plus probably some trick training and this is how she acted every afternoon. Because she's a derpface.

Also, Boxers have the best expressions.

DNA tests are extremely unreliable, but I suppose its not a bad guess given phenotyping (marks the genes responsible for coat type, color, and length, size, and body type. They prove unreliable often due to the vast variations even within genes. Dog breeds haven't been seperated long enough to truly be genetically different from one another) . I'd have said something like a spitz type (husky; she seems to be angouti) combined with something like a hound or GSD x hound (as it seems she carries the tan point gene). Who knows, though. Mutts are fun. =) She's super unique looking!

reasons {Boo. ):} so I couldn't
ask what breed she was.

Dats mah mutt Juniper. We get all kinds of weird guesses. I just call her a GSD/Rottie mix as its the most likely. We've gotten kelpie, Aussie (wut), Dobe mix, "Is that a pure shepherd?!", and beauceron. xD
