So, I have been giving trifexis for a while and got worried with all the blasting out there. So, I asked my vet to switch me over to something else and he gave me heartgard and comfortis. I about had a cow for a month on trifexis it was almost $15 covered both heartworms, fleas and more. Where as he charged me $11 for heartgard and $15 for the comfortis after I asked him for something that was better but just as cheap as the trifexis. That is double the amount of money for one month, I about died. Needless to say I am searching else where for the products.

I use Advantix 2 and it's like 25 dollars for a two pack and doesn't even cover heart worms x.x

And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth

I just randomly thought about this, but what wouldn't it be cool to train animals for movies? Like, how would you even go about doing that?

That sounds really difficult o.o It was hard enough to train my dog to sit and shake (she knows simple behavioral things, like "stop barking" and stuff, but those were already taught to her before she was abandoned)..I can't imagine training a dog to do all of the stuff movie dogs do.

Marker training. Lmao. While a lot of it seems extreme, most of it is simple behaviors rewarded and strung together. =)

These guys were in one of the Resident Evil movies! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_D6JoFcAeE

A woman who could trees at the rescue with me trained her dog for a movie. She taught her dog commands in sign language rather than spoken commands.

Piper barks.
Won't stop barking.
My mom says; "oh! She wants the ball!"
Throws the ball, and piper doesn't get it.
They tell her over and over to 'get the ball!'
Piper doesn't move
Hmmm, mom, do you think that maybe piper doesn't want to play and is actually just being A LITTLE BRAT?
Wow what a surprise would that be.

It drives me INSANE

Maybe like simple role dogs. I was thinking about the dog in Kick-*** 2 and I bet I could train my dogs to do the things that dog does in there which is what made me start thinking about it. Kiba can do a lot of different tricks and stunts. Wolfgang has the perfect temperament for a movie dog, so relaxed in stressful situations. Who knows, maybe some day I will be able to get them trained enough, you never know. I can dream lol xD
