Remember not to force her into the water! Trust me its not fun to have a dog scared of water, I live 5 minutes from the beach (20 min bike ride) and my Chew will not go near the water at all! Princess and Grace will get in when encouraged but not happily-

Pffffft, you guys know you are talking about a Golden Retriever here, right? The dogs with webbed toes? She friggin LOVES water! We have a pool in the backyard and she goes crazy in it! She'll love the beach c:

I just had to share this picture with you guys...

It's a husky up for adoption in Nova Scotia. She almost looks cross eyed xD Funniest eyes I've ever seen.

Why the heck did I think it'd be a good idea to go on petfinder while waiting for the tylenol to kick in? Now I can't tear myself away

@Raineyes: Our boxer loves the water

All we get around here are stagnant, icky pools though and it can be hard keeping her out of them because, when she wants something, she goes for it. I've never taken her to the beach but, supposedly, she loves it.

Alot of dogs that love water, creeks, dams ect.
Might still be afraid of the ocean
It's the moving water that scares them usually
When we first took Scooby he ran straight in the water and went for a swim, then decided he didn't like it and keeps to the shallows, Benji only allows water on his paws if a wave comes in he jumps backwards lol
