So, I haven't seen Clemmy in a couple days cause I didn't want to stay at the house alone with my mom's bf and his family while my mom was out of town. I can't wait to see her again tomorrow and she's probably gonna be so excited to see us both (My mom's giving me a ride home) that she'll hardly be able to contain it.

Clipped Bella's nails today, which she doesn't like. Afterwords she had about two minutes of sitting the the corner of the room looking at me with sad eyes like "How could you do that, you animal abuser?" Then she came right back onto my lap and laid down like nothing have ever happened. She doesn't hold grudges for very long. ;)

She's the only thing that gets me to clean because I know that if I don't keep the floor 110% clear she'll steal stuff of the floor in an attempt to get attention.

We're doing a large gorge-fast this week, so I'm excited about that, she's getting a whole raw chicken, organs and all which is a LOT of food for such a small dog. I'm having to feed her a lot of raw food very quickly because I had a medical issue where I couldn't feed her raw for a while, so now the whole huge freezer full of raw I have is now all oldish and freezer burned (The containers broke in the freezer) Might try and find some raw feeders in my area to give some of it too.

I don't know what to do about clipping Rylees nails... She's a large dog which means thick nails. Whenever I clip them, both of us are terrified because it is so hard to get a clean cut, and she's nipped at me a few times due to me hurting her. I think I'm going to start using a Dremel... I have one already and it seems easier.

I found with my bf's mom Dobbie we had to buy a brand new pair of clippers. I can't remember the brand but they sliced threw his overgrown nails like butter.. SO EASY. They went through my Rotties nails super easy as well. When I cut his nails I was really really careful just to tip them. e.e

But, Dremels are awesome. I want one pretty bad.

I went ahead and tried it out and my god it works so well. Wasn't charged enough apparently, so I didn't get a few nails, but the ones I did finish are so much smoother than when I use nail clippers, and Rylee didn't mind at all after the first nail. Whereas she's actually shaking and trying to escape with the clippers, she was laying down with the dremel and only pulling away when I got too close to the quick. Which is another good thing about the dremel - you get a warning. With clippers the pain is instant and without warning when you cut too much, y'know?

I'm glad it worked so well.. Definitely will be using it from now on, and worth the money if you're really wanting one Cardinal.. Some are actually fairly cheap.. I think the one I have was under $40. It's just that with a cheaper one it dies quickly. Still does the job while it's alive though.

And I actually did buy some new clippers, tried three differen't brands I believe.. Maybe I was just buying the wrong kind but they all didn't do that good of a job. Maybe my hesitation when cutting the nails didn't help either though. But since the dremel works no point testing out any more. :P

I honestly can't remember if it's against the rules to post pictures of your face, so if it is, I'll just edit it and blot out my face or something. But I, personally, don't mind.

Picked out my puppy today, still have to wait until she's old enough to take home though. Welcome Piper to the family :)
She fell asleep on my lap after a while <3

Seems like you made a good choice, she's adorable. :) You're making me more impatient for my pup though. The breeder I've been in contact with most likely won't have any pups until later this year/early next year.

How cute! Makes me wish I had went to a good breeder for my Chewie. Course I love him to death, and would never even think of trading him, but I wish I had known to buy from a good breeder last year.

My Chew was a impulse buy, and I was actually thinking of getting a Great Dane when I fell in love with Chew and bought him.
