Took Max to the river today- the waterfall was dried up, and we almost made it to the bottom by hopping on stones, until there was a large open gap that Max almost tried to jump, but I stopped him. Bleh, he could've gotten in serious trouble if he jumped, and I'm not supposed to be at the river in the first place.

Zarria and I want on a walk today she loves to go on walks. She was sniffing like almost everything. She got close to a cat and the cat hissed and ran behind a house we have a lot of cats near are home don't know way e-e. After we got done walking we played in my yard for a few minutes then she got tired and wanted to go inside. She is laying beside me now with her head up looking at me with cute puppy dog eyes.

And Norris is a Malinois or Belgian Shepherd Malinois. I usually just call him a Belgian shepard because most people who ask probably don't really care.

And last night Norris decided that he was the king of the bed, because just as I get comfortable...
He takes up like half of the bed, leaving me no room to get comfortable.
So I was like, "Norris, NO. Bad boy."
And then he just sleeps on the end of the bed.
Sure enough, I wake up with him lying ontop of me.
Sure, I don't mind company but one hundred plus pound company isn't the same thing.

Hey, what backpacks do you guys use? Want to try backpacking out but not sure which brand to get. Is this one good?

Looks fine to me. Mine has a longer strap on the back BUT it also has larger bags, so it helps distribute the weight. I'll have to invest in a smaller one once I have an understanding of roughly what the size of a dobe pup will grow in a year

Most our dogs are old now, we use to have 18 dogs. 16 Pharaoh Hounds, 1 Ibizian hound and a Fox Hound. Our most recent dog is our Whippet that had been abandoned, Smokey

I have loved dogs ever since I was nine. I got a puupy last year. She is a shichon. Her birthday is 12-25 (I think you know when that is!)

Does anyone else have problems with H-style harnesses? Lolita's slips around quite a bit. She's sort of a special case since she's obese and she doesn't wear it more then her short little walks but it's still somewhat annoying to have to be kneeling down ever 5 minutes and adjusting it. And she gets a little grumpy about it.
