Yeah. This is a correct photo. Pitbulls aren't mean, blood shedding dogs! Nice job people trying to hate pitbulls.

And since when is that what a Pit Bull looks like? I didn't know Pit Bulls had Pig noses, 2cm tall back legs, flipper type paws, and pupil less eyes? I think they might be trying to ban some sort of dachshund/pig/seal mix of some sort. Personally I agree, that should never happen.

OCD me popping through. "Dominant" is not a personality trait if you're using the proper scientific definition when applied to behavior. They are "Assertive" that is correct. But most proper examples of the breed are biddable and often sensitive to their handlers.

Thought some might like this, a visual comparison of the top winning bully breeds in comformation of 2009
Left (ADBA) are American Pit Bull Teriers. Middle(UKC) are mostly Pitterstaffs (APBT/Amstaff mixes, yes I checked the peds). Right(AKC) are American Staffordshire Terriers.

Indeed, a little scary looking! Sadly I've seen some American Bullies that resemble that.

It honestly irritates me to no end that people cannot distinguish Pits and Staffies! My smaller dog, who weighs about 40lbs, is probably part Staffy. When I told someone that, they looked petrified and asked me, "What?! A pitbull?!" I nearly slapped them! They are completely different comformation-wise, besides resemblance in the face. Anything with a square-looking muzzle and nice jaws is automatically a pit! Jeez.

Yeah! IKR! I just look at this and laugh. Tis ridiculous how people try to make pitbulls look like. This for instance, oh yeah, I forgot, that's exactly what pitbulls look like. Emm, hmm!

There is no such breed as Pit Bull. It's a type which does included your Staffy. To say they're different conformation wise, to what? Yes they're different from APBT but both breeds are still Pit Bull type dogs. Espically under the eyes of the law in cases of BSL. Also yes, under the eyes of most (all?) BSL laws anything with a square jaw is considered a Pit Bull, unfortunatly.

Minecraftlover-Yes that's true, most of the laws banning Pit Bulls give them the right to euthanasia any dog that seems like a Pit Bull. Because the only way they could know if it was really a Pit Bull would be to do a DNA test, and they're not going to do that. So they just have someone who goes around and says "I think that's a Pit Bull" Meaning basically they got to chose what was a Pit Bull and what wasn't just based on looks, so many people who had purebred dogs that were 100% not Pit Bull also got their dogs euthanized because they looked like Pit Bulls.

Yes, exactly. I hate the people who came up with the stereotype pitbull. The one in the picture I posted, all pitbulls are mean apparently, well, they're completely wrong. It was sad because family pets were taken away. Loving caring pitbulls that had never done wrong.
