iare there any other endangered species in England? if there is i think maybe they should be focused on first, and i do think that they try to help raise the deer population before attempting to introduce wolves again.

You can't make a public thread and expect everybody to agree with you 100%, rarely 75% agree. I have A German Shepherd, she shows me what a wolf PUP can do.

I've seen about 5 deers and I don't even live near the countryside! I live in a town, don't know if I can say where so I ain't going to! I've seen a couple of foxes near a stable and once my sister saw a fox in the street outher bedroom window! I wouldn't mind having wolves back in Scotland as long as the number was kept low so there wasn't any attacks. There should be a border so if a pack or lone wolf crosses, they drive them back into the border. If the wolves keep coming back across the border, they would have to be shot because that would be a threat :D

You speak so lightly of wolves getting shot... Wouldn't it be better to not take the risk of any wolves getting killed? Apparently the country has been doing fine without them for 100's of years, so would it really be worth it?

Besides - if it's for seeing the wolves, what's the point? If you live in a city or town then you wont see them, and if you do it's because they are starving or they are dangerous.

lol :D I don't see many at all!

That's the point! What would the wolves eat? Don't say that we can feed them, becausr that would be a risk and unnatural. I say a definite no on wolves in England.

Well they could eat forset animals?

What forest animals? Hares and rabbits I've only seen once, deer 0 times, 5 is not that much anyway, and they can't catch birds very easily.

I meant that as in like.. You sound like you don't mind a few of them getting shot if they become a "threat" to humans.. Well, if they're not reintroduced then no wolves are going to be at risk. It's a tragedy that they were all killed off in the first place, but who's to say it wouldn't happen again? I love wolves as well, I don't want any of them killed.

really? thats awful! I do love owls they are my favorite type of bird.
The owls geting extint, thats a good example on why in england they should focus to save the threatned species that still exist first,
with wolves what is the point? Not to mention bringing them back would have consequences, like if they dont have enought deer to feed on than what are they going to feed on? Livestock, birds,? (dont forget wolves are opurtunistic predators, they will kill anything that get their paws on)

There are quite a few deer in England how could you have never seen one I been chased at least 6 times by them :what:

Foxes have become so wide spread and so much of a DANGER to humans there asking for a legal cull of them in some parts of the UK.

I have an adult male German Shepherd who is 115 pounds of solid muscle wolves have a bite force three times as powerfull as a GSD so realy no dog could show you what a wolf can do.

The wolf reintroduction was set for a wider range of animals including bears and the lynx and elk another animal once abundent here its on going and is still being discussed.

My thoughts it would be nice to see wolves in England again as well as the bear and Lynx I would travel to Scotland to see them in there natural habitat, but also if its going to course problems and risk them being killed then NO its best if they keep them safe in the Wolf Watch UK sanctuary.
