Future Wildlife Biologist (Discuss how to help wildlife)

Postby Three days grace » Mon Nov 19, 2012 1:03 pm

Hello future wildlife Biologists.
Here we discuss ways we can help wildlife and make a difference. Even some of the smallest things can make a big difference.
For example: You see a bird that has ran into your window, What do you do? You help it. It will be scared and in shock so be sure to wear gloves when u pick it up. Then get a box and put stuff that will remind it of it's habitat in your area. Then get bird seed. If you don't have bird seed crunch up peanuts into little pieces for in to eat. Then get a little bowl and fill it with water.

Here you post info like that. It will help people and animals in situations like that. THX. :D
Pain,
Without love,
Pain,
i can't get enough,
Pain,
I like it rough,
Cause i'd rather feel pain than nothing at all!

Anger and agony are better than misery,
trust me and take my hand,
when the lights go out you'll understand.

Insanity
Does it have shape?
Or is it colored
like black and white
deformation of the mind
Lost, aggravation
Indubitably torment
Difficulty, madness
All screwed up into one
Wandering about
Hopelessness, confusion
Demean comprehension
Of one’s own existence
Insanity, disease
Infection of the soul

But that won't help the bird at all. One of three things happens when you find a bird that crashed into something.

1.) its just dazed, and in that case you can stick it in a box for a little bit until it comes to, to keep other animals from getting it
2.) it is injured, and needs a wildlife rehab place
3.) it dies in the crash

There isn't really a case where putting it in a box with food will help. If its healthy enough to be releaseable its not going to just be sitting in a dark box eating.
