OMG how long have i abandoned this thread, like 6 months?!!lol
Well i met up with this girl next door who owns the most beautimus pony ever! And charlie went MENTAL! He hadnt been away from Saffi and when he heard her neighing, he was just evil! i had to get off because he was going to chuck me off into the river! Which was a huge mistake because as soon as i dismounted, he reared and nearly crushed me, he bucked and kicked me right at the bottom of the spine. Crying of pain, i walked him back to the stable, ugh i had to try and control this obese weirdo whilst holding my back like a freak, seriously though, i looked like a monkey! NEVER....EVER am i going to take charlie away from saffi again! ugh it was awful!
I have had to stop having lessons due to financial problems, so no more Candy, no more Bow, Tombeau, Duke, not even Widget.....i don't have a clue what to do, and because of Charlie acting do dangerous, its looks like i will have nothing to ride for the summer!
Actually i might have my friends horses called, Teddy, dinkey and magic... so yeah....!

the worst fall i ever had: ummm last year, i broke my back/ neck! it took agessssss to recover!

if there is anything you want me to read and reply to just quote it for me! i don't have enough time due to exams and stuff to look through everything i have missed!

Got to go to the barn today :3 people offered me boots a show coat and a show blouse :D I'm so thankful for horse people to help me out. I am not paying $600 for all y show gear total thank you very much.

At the barn I helped with a bunch of lessons. It was fun. Didn't get to ride. But I still had fun. I'm helping on Tuesday too and A (instructor) said I can ride Maude (the young crazy appy) and help with lessons. Yay :3 and then I ride Thursday for my lesson and I work Wednesday. This should be a good week and hopefully get all of my gear by Saturday for my first show! My instructor said I'll be riding Phin. Which hopefully goes good. I just rode him about a month ago. So I should be fine. But Wahhhh. I want to ride Havanna ._. Poop.

I am back from the dead lol. The wedding went well, it was so much fun, and my sister was beautiful. Alough exausten is setting in. But anyway, here goes a long reply. Back to 672 I go.

Opal: that riding brake really helped I think, and being able to do what you are wanting did too.

Monchele: I love the pictures! And your shirt looks so nice against his bay color <3 OMG, starter level?! You go girl! Occasionally it is nice to ride a push button horse just so you can work on your Eq and not have to think about giving cues or how the horse is moving.

Silence: long time to here, good to have you back :) all the riders at your barn are so amazing, and for that girl to be so young doing the Pony Finals is astounding.

Smokey: sorry I didn't reply to you earlier, but like you said, I was really busy with fair. Your right, it did keep me humble, and I also now know what to work on in our free days. It doesn't sound like you have to go to too many rodeos for queening. Does Queso stay down at the fair, or do you trailer him back and forth? I have met a few judges like that (especially in the dog and rabbit shows) and it is like they were randomly selected, but know nothing about the subject. It pisses me off too. But it sounds like you did well at the first show.

Hano: now who are you again? Lol, jk. I would love an update too.

June: I would say I mostly do dressage, but I am wanting to do more hunter/jumper. I think I may ask S if she can gave me a couple jumping lessons because T doesn't do any jumping lessons at all. I will probably ask her in the fall since we both are still so busy in the summer. Even if it would only be once or twice a month, I would really like to put my toes in the water for it without getting a different trainer.

Hime: do you think you will keep Tyvar after his colt training camp? Those pictures are too much cute <3 I can't... This may be a dumb question, but what are all the black spots on his chest and neck? For us, 77 is idea riding weather and the horses love it as well. I often ride in 90+ weather, but I do have to watch Robert carefully so he doesn't get over heated.

Mocha: I road in shorts once, and I won't do it ever again. the stirrup leathers pinch my calves so badly. Sometime I am going to go on a trail ride with a couple of my friends down to this creek, it should be a lot of fun <3

Scarlet: I love helping in lessons (most of the time haha), the instructor I work with is really nice to be around because she is strict and you have to work to get on her good side, but she knows her stuff. You can also try resale tack shops.
_________
I went to ride Bobbers on Wednesday, but he was lame on his front right ( Maybe it was his left, I still have wedding brain lol) leg ): So S came over and took a look at it. He probably did something in the pasture. So I did not ride at all that day but instead I just hand grazed my boy. I haven't heard anything more on how he is doing, so I will text S tonight and see if he is okay to ride this week. If he is I am hoping to go over maybe Monday to just go for a short ride.

welll I've been stalking this page and not posting in a long time sooo farm updates..

my not so old lame mare now has a home at an equine rescue.. she has settled in nicely in their herd. while several people are interested in her, they are not sure yet if they will adopt her out or make her a permanent resident due to her lameness issue

we also have a new addition to the horsey family =) my stepdaughter got a 6 year old paint gelding.. he is awesome, especially for as young as he is.. she is excited to teach him as much as she possibly can

@lisa- I would love to see pictures of the paint if you could snag any. And that's good your mare has a home at an equine rescue :)

GUYSSS
There's this horse "rescue" across the way.
They aren't really a rescue, they just keep the horses because the government gives them money.
And we were looking out the window and found they have a medicine hat horse!

//sCREAMS AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE
so we come back to the point where it's my fault the horse bolted on me.
and it's my fault I couldn't control him.
and it's all my fault I'm scared to ever get a horse to trot because of what happened.
Then my mom says I need a dead broke horse but what I really need is a freaking horse that doesn't speed up on me or pivot when I pull the reins!

//end rant I'm sorry

@June Bug: Okay, that's reassuring more or less. :)

@Blue: If I just have the money, then you bet I'm keeping him. ;D I did pretty long explanation to June about the spots in my previous post, if you want to go read it. But long story short: He was really itchy for the first week outside and some of the black areas are from that time due scratching and rubbing. But then the itchyness settled after coulple days in the pasture. Vet was pretty clueless what could it be, as for summer itch(our best guess) 2 weeks old is little too young for the symptoms to appear. Now he's no longer clearly/visibly itchy, but the bald spots keep appearing and even though there was barely any places he could have rubbed himself to for while few still appeared(like the one on the right side of his neck around the throat, so it was really creepy, but the left side spot is fairly new)... :\ Now they have access to tree area, and there's more bald spots now so I suppose he does rub himself to the trees, though I've never seen him do so. (other option is other horses/foals do something to him, as one filly has spotty legs as well) We can not be sure if Heta's meds are effecting him through milk by cutting down the itchyness or not... Plus he's not rubbing his mane and tail anymore, which was the worst itchy spot at first. And now the damage mostly appears on his head, there's also no broken skin which is good, but then again odd. :/ It's kinda like he has summer itch, but then again not. >_< Driving me crazy btw.

Poor Robs. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...
